The first robot banker earned in Russia

In September 2021, it became known about the launch in Russia of the first robot banker. We are talking about a joint project of the Russian National Commercial Bank (RNKB) and Promobot.

As Oleg Kivokurtsev, development director of Promobot, told TASS, the robot was launched in one of the bank branches at Simferopol Airport in Crimea. He can register a credit card and open an account.

Russian robots were supposed to advise customers, talk about the bank's services, answer questions, help fill out documents and applications, removing part of the load from the staff. Earlier, the Promobot robot began advising customers of the Russian Geobank. He was hired by a multifunctional bank office of a credit institution. The robot is able to perform the functions of several employees at once, as well as additional tasks, for example, to photograph and print photos.
