2021: Presentation of the smartphone on the Skif processor

As it became known on September 14, 2021, Rostec, part of the Scale Research Institute, and its subsidiary Smartecosystem, created their own smartphone, which in the future will be able to work on the Skif domestic processor, developed by the Zelenograd research and production center Electronic Computing and Information Systems (SPC Elvis).

The creators call their phone a trastphone - conceptually, it is positioned as a "trusted" smartphone for confidential communication. As specified by CNews in the concern "Automatics" (the structure of "Rostec," the direct control loop of which includes "Scale"), privacy, among other things, is achieved due to the possibility of disabling the operation of cameras and microphones, which excludes unauthorized collection of information by these modules.

At the same time, the phone is not focused exclusively on the military or on use for working with state secrets. At the corporate level, developers see by its consumers any organizations for which the preservation of data, for example, personal, matters.

According to the general director of Smartecosstema Vladislav Ivanov, part of the first circulation of trusts should go on retail sale during the week - negotiations are underway with the largest Russian stores and online venues. According to him, the estimated price will be set within 19 thousand rubles. (no more). Ivanov is not yet ready to name the approximate price of a future modification of the device on Skif, but believes that it will not differ much.

Ivanov clarifies that a batch of three thousand devices has already arrived in Russia from abroad, another eight thousand are expected until the end of 2021. In the future, the direct release of the trastphone may begin in Russia.

Thus, in anticipation of the appearance of Skif, Scale and Smartecosystem pre-selected a chip available on the market for their phone, the most similar in its parameters to the Russian processor not yet available at that time (at the level of documentation, Skif's capabilities were known in advance). This choice was supposed to allow developers to subsequently start using the domestic processor with the least time delay immediately after it appeared on the market.

In modification on the foreign MediaTek chip phone of "Scale" received the name Ayya T1. The trastphone is equipped with a 6.56 inch HD screen with GorillaGlass 3 protective glass. The model is equipped with a main double camera with modules for 12 and 5 megapixels, as well as a front camera for 13 megapixels. The lithium polymer battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh.
