Since 1994 deliveries of radio modems of the Canadian firm Dataradio are performed (now the owner of this trademark is the American company Calamp).

NPP Rodnik offers own hardware-software developments: the software and hardware complexes (SHC) for passenger, cargo, technology and special transport. Using PTK Baltika diagnostics and status monitoring of technology radio networks of data exchange is exercised, PTK "Vishera" is monitoring and management of test means of an automobile polygon, PTK "Don-3" is monitoring of work of mobile means using satellite navigation in the postponed and pseudo-foreground mode. PTK "Istra" is applied to calculation of passengers and assessment of passenger traffics on transport, and PTK "Kama" — to monitoring, supervisory control and information support of land mobile means in a foreground mode.

The Rodnik company proposes the unique software solution ensuring continuous functioning of information systems running Windows OS at failures, failures and even physical destruction of separate servers as a part of the computer network – the virtual Marathon failsafe servers. Unlike the technologies of a clustering requiring application of special versions of the operating system, the solution Marathon Technologies, Inc. are under construction on standard Windows Server OS and do not require special configurations of technical means. In NPP Rodnik it is created and successfully the educational advice center authorized by Altium, AWR and Calamp companies in which more than 400 specialists annually study works.

Authorized [1] by the companies Altium, AWR, CalAmp (Dataradio) NPP Rodnik Ltd Educational Advice Centre Began the activity in 2002 as the structural division helping users to master modern automated design engineering systems of radio-electronic devices. In process of expansion of the nomenclature of the research and development sold in the market seminars were developed for the specialists connected with design, installation and setup of technology radio networks on the equipment CalAmp (Dataradio).

History

On September 16, 1991 activity of the company as computer center "Rodnik" at the SKIM small enterprise began. Yury Kirillov and Alexander Pinayev were founders of the company. Then Alexander Podelko, Victor Danilov, Natalya Morozova, Olga Kuzmina, Vagan Sarukhanov, Ekaterina Knyazeva, Yury Kovalyov, Sergey Margaryan, Sergey Eroshkin came to the company.

Almost all staff of the company was programmers. Therefore activity of the company began with development and sale of programs.

Our software products made success and demand.

The Rodnik-Bukhgalter system on functionality and consumer properties quite successfully competed with only a 1C system arising then which nowadays dominates in the Russian market of accounting programs.

1991: The first clients

• On November 4 - the first delivery agreement of the software is signed with the very first customer of Spring - AVK company of Eksim.

• On December 15 - the very first computer hardware consisting of several IBM PC 286 and IBM PC servers 386 with the hard drive of 80 MB purchased.

1992: Company registration and delivery of the American PCs

On June 1 in the Moscow registration chamber Rodnik Soft LLP was registered.

The distribution agreement, the first in the history of the company, is signed with the foreign supplier of the hardware. The American company Intersys, Inc. making computers with a 5-year guarantee became it. Computers of its production were supplied by us to the Russian market within several years until the producer went bankrupt. After that our company at own expense supported a guarantee.

1993: New office

The delivery agreement of computers still is signed with one American company - Digital Dimensions. It released the high-performance computers surprising with the high-speed performance. They struck the Russian user with the fact that during testing of the PC in Zelenograd under the auspices of the PC World magazine cars on the 486th processor were overtaken by computers of other producers on only the appeared Pentium processor.

The beginning of work in the field of industrial computer automation. The beginning of cooperation with the largest producer of industrial computers - the American company Texas Microsystems, Inc. The company moved to the new premises to the address Nakhimovsky Avenue 1, building 1 where it is to this day.

1994: Beginning of work with a CAD

Work on sale and support of automated design engineering systems of electronic devices began. Spring the American companies Microsim, Inc were the first partners. and ACCEL EDA. Together with NPP Topaz the company participates in development and start in production of domestic "black boxes" for aircraft.

Work on the direction of transfer of telemetered informations on a radio channel is begun.

The Spring Software public joint stock company is registered.

1995: Release of own PCs

"Spring" began release of computers under own trademark.

At the company the dealer network began to form.

A series of large deliveries of the computer equipment for the oil and gas industry was executed.

1996: Deliveries of the protected notebooks

The beginning of deliveries of the protected mobile Getac computers.

Accomplishment of the complex project of automation of the Moscow airport "Vnukovo".

The beginning of deliveries of hardware and software systems for power together with the Moscow Scientific Research Institute Teplopribor.

The company underwent the procedure of a re-registration in accordance with the established procedure. The Spring Software open joint stock company was formed.

1997

The company designs and implements the center of response to crisis situations of Gosatomnadzor of the Russian Federation.

Together with RNTs "Kurchatov Institute" and the Tensor plant managing computers on the NPP "Mokhovets" (Slovakia) are developed, tested and delivered.

Together with NPO IT hardware-software complexes for the international project Sea Launch are developed and delivered.

1998

August. Crisis. Default. Sharply turnovers and the profit of the company fall. Business activity in the country comes down to zero. Customers have nothing to pay salary to employees, in general nobody thinks of information technologies. In these conditions many IT companies twice and reduce the staff more, many in general leave the market.

In Spring of Software ANY EMPLOYEE was not reduced or dismissed.

1999

The project of automation of the Moscow regional command center by air traffic based on highly reliable computers in industrial execution is executed. Many years our solutions are operated in this very responsible application.

The company won tender on the right of deployment of AIUS by transport in Kazan.

2000

The edition of the country's first specialized magazine on technologies of design of the electronic devices "EDA Express" began.

A number of projects of design automation of electronic devices on large enterprises of the country is executed.

2001: Opening of training center

There began activity the educational advice center of the company on technologies of design of electronic devices. For these years in the center hundreds of specialists from different regions of the country were trained. The best experts are involved in teaching. The circle of the taught disciplines extends. In particular, preparation on data transmission on a radio channel is carried out.

2002

The company became the participant of the country's first Center of science and high technologies.

In the company the first children of employees were employed.

The company organized the charitable help Troitse-Sergiyeva Varnitskoma to the monastery. Since then we help it, than we can.

Annually we leave on community work days.

2003

The company won tender on the right of deployment of AIUS of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Deployment of a radio network of management of telemechanics for a number of fields of LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft LLC is begun.

2004

The managing real-time system for consolidation Tatneft is designed and unrolled.

The wholesale supplies of one of the most popular servers of devices (the transformer RS-232 - Ethernet) - XPort of production of the American company Lantronix, Inc are begun. This product remains to the most mass in the class in Russia to this day.

2005

Change of the corporate style of the company is carried out. New corporate colors, a logo, fonts and other symbolics are developed and approved. The new corporate style fully corresponds to the hi-tech, innovation nature of the company.

ABN "Don 2.kh" received an award "A debut of year" of the Softool exhibition as the best hardware-software development.

2006

In completion of the procedure of rebranding RODNIK Scientific and Production Enterprise Ltd is formed.

The unique information warehouse for Geokosmos company is designed and unrolled.

2007

The largest delivery of the software of Altium Designer for the Izhevsk radio plant is executed.

A number of large projects for concern "Morinformsistema Agate is implemented.

Implementation of a software and hardware complex Baltika at a number of customers is continued.

The serial release of ABN "Don 2.kh" began.

2008

Solutions of the company are implemented as a part of projects of the largest oil pipelines, such as "Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean" (ESPO) and some others. Large deliveries of integrated solutions for the enterprises of a system of Gazprom, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the enterprises of defense industry are executed.

2009

It was very difficult year for the company, as well as for all Russian economy. Despite crisis, the company, as well as in 1998, did not lay off any employee, having saved group of professionals. Work on a number of large projects is continued.

System deployment of supervisory control on one of the largest coal mines in Kazakhstan is continued.

A number of software developments for Emercom of Russia is executed.

The systems of automated management on the basis of transfer of telemetry on a radio channel for a number of large enterprises of a system of Gazprom and for a number of the Russian oil companies are unrolled.

Large deliveries of specialized network devices to the system of JSC "Russian Railways" are executed.

Hardware and software systems of design of electronic devices on a number of large enterprises of domestic electronic industry are implemented. Mass deliveries of terminal clients of production of Chip PC company are unrolled. A number of failsafe solutions based on products of Marathon Technologies company including in new terminals of Sheremetyevo Airport is implemented.

2010

Year of gradual recovery from the crisis. Turnovers and the profit of the company grew almost twice in comparison with previous year. Work on a number of large projects in Russia and Kazakhstan is continued. Delivering solutions for transfer of telemetered informations on a radio channel for the enterprises of a system of Gazprom and also for the enterprises of oil production and processing and aviation complex is executed.

Mass delivering solutions for transfer of music and the speech on local and global IP networks for radio stations and the media companies is begun. Specialized libraries for the system of design Altium Designer of own development are put on the market.

Training programs UKTs of the company extended, the number of the specialists who were trained in it considerably increased. Large deliveries of a CAD of electronic devices for the enterprises of defense industry are executed.

2011

In July, 2011 it was announced opening of representation in St. Petersburg. If so far to obtain the comprehensive information on products, to specify technical characteristics, it was possible to ask non-standard questions, to make the order for development of the complete solution only by means of the appeal to the Moscow office, then now NPP Rodnik expands the geographical presence with opening of representation which need is caused by needs of customers. The representative office Rodnik, first of all, is urged to increase efficiency of interaction and service quality of customers in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and also in North-West Region in general. Together with head office in Moscow the representation in St. Petersburg will perform projects, to deliver complete solutions on all range of the offered products of NPP Rodnik Ltd, to participate in marketing efforts on a profile of activity of the company.
