The Ministry of Industry and Trade estimated at 2.67 billion rubles the creation of a marketplace for industrial software
For the development of the Modular Multi-Service Industrial Platform (MMPP; will become a marketplace for industrial software) until 2024 2.67 billion rubles will be spent . This assessment was given to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in August 2022.
As specified in the Kommersant department, the funds will go, among other things, "to create the ecosystem itself, integrate it with external InformSystems, develop services, implement them at enterprises, and support enterprises in choosing technical solutions and adapting them."
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the project will be released in September 2022, and among the software suppliers for the platform there are already Top Systems, 1C, ASCON, Nanosoft, Tesis, T1 Group, etc.
According to the ministry, all the funds necessary for the implementation of the project are provided for by the national project "Labor Productivity." In 2021, the government has already allocated 399 million rubles to the autonomous non-profit organization Digital Productivity Technologies to create a digital ecosystem of Russian enterprises.
As conceived by the authorities, MMPP should help Russian enterprises replace the decisions of foreign developers who left the market due to sanctions. The top manager of a large Russian electronics manufacturer, in a conversation with the newspaper, expressed doubt about the need for such a platform for specialized enterprises.
The equipment of any enterprise producing radio electronics works with various data formats, which can be combined in a single automated enterprise control system (APCS) only if the equipment vendor has provided for this at the stage of its creation, - explained the source. |
According to him, it is technically possible to combine multi-format data on a single platform if there is a conversion system between the platform and equipment, "but this will create extremely high risks in terms of possible data leakage."[1]
Announcement of the launch of the industrial software marketplace
On April 20, 2022, it became known that it Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia plans to launch a marketplace by the end of 2022, industrial software which will combine specialized software developers with customers on one electronic platform. This was told by the deputy head of the ministry. Vasily Shpak
In the near future we will launch the platform into test operation. By the end of the year, it will already be in combat and full-scale operation, - said Vasily Shpak. |
He also clarified that the key services of the marketplace will begin to work in the spring and summer.
This is a platform that will help connect software developers for industry directly with customers, allow you to form an ecosystem and ultimately ensure the technological independence of our industrial enterprises in terms of using special software products, "said Vasily Shpak. |
According to him, the platform is being created within the framework of the ANO "Digital Performance Technologies."
In 2021, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Digital Industry to prepare an action plan for the development and implementation of Russian engineering and industrial software, including the creation of a multi-service modular industrial platform Ministry of[2].
2021: Creating a marketplace for industrial software
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is creating a marketplace for industrial software, which became known in mid-October 2021. The project was named "Modular Multiservice Industrial Platform" (MMPP).
As Kommersant writes with reference to the presentation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the marketplace will be a single ecosystem of special software for Russian industrial enterprises. The site will present programs that enterprises use to manage production processes, design products, dispatch control, collect data from facilities, etc.
Companies that require engineering software will be able to get it on the subscription platform, compensating for part of the costs through subsidies, said the source familiar with the details of the project. He noted that the Ministry of Industry and Trade expects to stimulate import substitution in the segment, which is now highly dependent on foreign decisions.
Valentin Makarov, President of the Russoft Association, noted that the idea of the ministry could solve the problem of technical dependence on foreign software in the sphere critical for the defense industry. But by October 2021, the country has no completed programs for the design and production of complex equipment.
The director R&D of the center IVA Technologies Victor Petrov clarified that not all systems have the possibility of simple integration with the domestic one. software It may turn out that the transition from the old platform to the new one will be unreasonably expensive and long.
According to Nikolai Komlev, Executive Director of the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises, the idea of creating a single platform for the development and promotion of Russian engineering and industrial software has been discussed for a long time, but the mechanisms have not yet been worked out. The problem is that industrial software of domestic development is still only in the form of separate modules, he added.[3]
