2021: Softline Venture Partners bought a stake in T-1 Group

Softline Venture Partners, corporate venture capital fund GK, Softline on March 5, 2021 announced TAdviser that he had become a co-owner of Russian T-1 Group JSC, which specializes in the creation and development of navigation technology-based services for consumer and corporate markets. The size of the share and the amount of the transaction are not called by the parties.

The key product of the T-1 Group is its own telematic platform. It is used to create and improve information and navigation information systems for two categories of customers. The first is private logistics companies. The income from cooperation with them makes up a significant part of the revenue. The second is the regional authorities, with which the T-1 Group, in the framework of concession agreements, is creating and modernizing the existing regional information and navigation systems (RINS) to improve the quality of passenger transportation and to solve logistical problems. RINs created on the T-1 Group platform are operated in the Moscow Region, Omsk Region and several other regions.

The purchase of a stake in the capital of T-1 Group is an investment in the rapid growth of the market, transport telematics which in our country with its distances is simply inevitable. At the same time, such a mature product as the T-1 Group software and hardware platform has a good chance of developing foreign markets. We will be happy to promote the export of Russia products and technologies created in more than 50 countries of Softline's presence, said Elena Volotovskaya, head of the Softline Venture Partners fund and vice president of investments at Softline Group.

2018: Memorandum with the Siberian Agreement Association

The company-developer of smart solutions for the transport industry JSC T-1 Group and the Siberian Agreement Interregional Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of digitalization in May 2018.

The goal of cooperation, as noted in the document, is the creation of a single navigation and information space, as well as the implementation of tools in the regions to improve road safety. Cooperation involves the exchange of experience, the creation of conditions for the interregional transfer of innovative transport technologies, the collection of analytics, the holding of measures to improve the quality of work in the field of passenger transportation by public transport, road services, housing and communal services, etc.

2016: JSC "T1 Group" received the status of personal data operator

In the summer of 2016 JSC Gruppa T1 reported about obtaining the status of the operator of personal data according to the federal law of 27.07.2006 No. 152-FZ "About Personal Data" which purpose is protection of the rights and freedoms of the person and citizen when processing his personal data, including protection of the rights to personal privacy, personal and family secrets.

Despite the fact that 152 Federal Law came into force in 2006, not all companies that aggregate and store data about their customers are included in the register of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Communications (Roskomnadzor). In the market of telematic service providers, the share of companies with the status of a personal data operator is no more than 7%.

The status of personal data operator will allow T1 Group JSC to expand the number of business partners. For example, insurance companies impose high requirements for the storage and processing of personal data. The presence of the personal data operator status indicates compliance with high security standards when processing personal data of customers, partners and other categories of individuals.

2015

Since 2015, T1 Group JSC has been participating in the development of the industrial Internet roadmap. The company works on the development, implementation and promotion of domestic software products. Today, its capabilities are tested by companies working in the field of energy, insurance, vehicle monitoring, smart home, etc.

According to information for 2015, the T1 Group joint-stock company is a subsidiary of Renova Group of Companies, created for the development of telematic products and services based on GLONASS technologies for consumer and corporate markets. The main activities of the company were: monitoring and control systems for stationary and mobile objects, systems for analyzing driving safety and detecting accidents, solutions for intelligent transport systems, as well as the development of services in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT).
