The implementation of the Electronic Recipe project in the Kursk region will take less than two months. It is planned that by the second quarter of 2022 electronic prescriptions will be issued in all medical institutions and accepted in 40% of pharmacies in the Kursk region, as of November 2021, the technical opportunity to accept prescriptions was provided in 172 pharmacies in the region.

Thanks to the introduction of the electronic prescription system, users will be able to track medical appointments and treatment regimens in a special application or through the State Services portal. The platform will also allow you to check in advance the presence of the necessary drugs in pharmacies and purchase drugs using the QR code and SNILS. The project in the Kursk region will provide doctors with access to all prescribed prescriptions, including those appointed by other specialists in order to assess the safety of drug therapy. With the help of the platform, health workers will be able to track the history of a patient's treatment and create prescriptions for drug therapy in a structured format, choosing the necessary drugs from the built-in directory of medicines. Creating a recipe electronically will take 30% less time than manual. The main objectives of the project are to increase the effectiveness of interaction between doctors, pharmacies and pharmacists, increase the share of remote interactions and the availability of drug supply. The widespread use of electronic prescriptions is also expected to control the discharge of prescriptions and the sale of prescription drugs.
