On the universal planetary scanner ElarScan A2, visitors to ModeMuseum in Anverpen can independently scan historical and modern fashion materials for personal collections and studies.

Fashion Museum MoMu (ModeMuseum - Antwerp) is known to everyone who is professionally involved in the fashion world. In September 2021, MoMu expanded its exhibition and public spaces and opened for guests after repairs. At the same time, specialists of the ELAR partner company iGuana installed the ElarScan A2-400 scanner in the museum library to serve visitors and replenish the digital collection of MoMu.

The collection MoMu stores not only samples of clothes, accessories and textiles, but also tools, textile machines, patterns, a collection of invitations to fashion shows. The museum's library is a treasure trove of historical and modern fashion, textiles and ethnic costumes. It is very popular with Belgian designers and fashion graduates of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. It is important for us to preserve knowledge in the fashion world and make it more accessible to our guests. With the help of ElarScan, our visitors will be able to carefully scan books, "said Ms. Ansoms (Mrs. Ansoms).

The ElarScan A2-400 has a touch screen and is designed for independent scanning of materials by both employees and visitors to libraries and archives, without the use of a mouse and keyboard. Working with the scanner is simple, convenient and does not require special skills, which allows you to quickly and efficiently digitize any originals.
