2021: Agreement on the introduction of the Cels system in the medical centers of Uzbekistan

The resident of the Skolkovo Foundation (Group ВЭБ.РФ) company Medical Screening Systems and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. Under its conditions, the Cels system will be introduced into the country's medical centers. This was reported on December 2, 2021 in the Skolkovo Foundation.

Cels processes radiological medical images with artificial intelligence and helps doctors detect pathologies even in the early stages.

The project, on which the Medical Screening System and the Ministry are working, health care Uzbekistan implies a comprehensive modernization of the radiological service. countries This is not only the introduction of Cels in all medical institutions, but also the updating of equipment, telecommunication infrastructure,. software An important stage is the training of doctors and training in working with the system.

Cels is an artificial intelligence-based platform for analyzing mammographs, fluorographs, CT cells of the lungs and brain. Images are transmitted to the platform, artificial intelligence analyzes them and notes signs of pathological changes, after which the doctor receives the results and the system's interpretation proposal. The accuracy of Cels is from 95%, while it allows you to automate research. For example, CT treatment of lungs and mammography takes about a minute, fluorography - less than 8 seconds.

"The Cels platform for the mining of medical images allows you to significantly increase the detection of oncological diseases, including in the early stages, when diagnosis is especially difficult, as well as conduct a" smart sorting "of images, prioritizing images for the doctor on which there is pathology. The Cels medical decision support system not only received the approval of the Russian regulator, but also permission for use in Europe. The accuracy of the neural network in recognizing changes in the images was confirmed during the pilots in three Russian regions. Undoubtedly, such impressive achievements of the project have become decisive in choosing the Cels platform for digitalizing the radiological service of Uzbekistan. We hope that this collaboration will bring success to our participant and will allow, through the aggregation of new volumes of big data, to make the neural network even more accurate, "said Natalya Polushkina, vice president, executive director of the Cluster of Biological and Medical Technologies of the Skolkovo Foundation.
