2025: Glavbukh Bryansk hospital received 3.5 years in prison for bribes

The chief accountant of the Bryansk city hospital No. 1 received 3.5 years in a general regime colony for receiving bribes from subordinates. The court's decision was made on March 10, 2025. In addition to imprisonment, the convict is obliged to pay a fine of ₽4,5 million.

According Telegram SK Russia to the SU channel, in the Bryansk region period from July 2020 to January 2021, the chief accountant of the medical institution received bribes from three subordinate employees totaling ₽782 800. The money was transferred for general patronage in the service.

The criminal activities of the chief accountant were identified by employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Bryansk Region. According to the results of the investigation, the woman was charged under paragraph "in" part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receiving a bribe on a large scale).

During the trial, the investigation collected a sufficient amount of evidence confirming the accountant's guilt. The court found the defendant guilty of committing the alleged crime and sentenced her to real imprisonment. The name of the convict by March 11, 2025 has not been announced.^[1]

2023: The head of the pharmacy was convicted in the case of bribes with the participation of the head physician

The Sovetsky District Court in Bryansk sentenced in a criminal case against the now former head of the pharmacy of the Bryansk City Hospital No. 1. She was found guilty of committing crimes under paragraphs "in" part 5 and part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking bribes on a large and especially large scale). This was announced in January 2023 by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

The investigation and the court found that in 2015-2018. the head of the pharmacy of the Bryansk city hospital No. 1 personally, and in 2018-2021. by prior conspiracy with the head of the medical institution received 3.2 million rubles from two individual entrepreneurs. The money was transferred for concluding contracts for the supply of medical goods and their timely payment.

The court agreed with the opinion of the state prosecutor and sentenced the guilty person to 4 years in prison with serving a sentence in a general regime correctional colony with a fine of 6 million rubles with confiscation of 3.2 million rubles received as a result of crimes. She is also prohibited for 3 years from holding positions related to the exercise of the functions of a representative of the authorities or the performance of organizational, administrative, administrative and economic functions in health care institutions and organizations. In this case, a personal car was confiscated from the accused.

The criminal case was opened in February 2022. The suspects in it were the head physician of the Bryansk city hospital No. 1 and the deputy of the regional Duma Konstantin Vorontsov and the head of the pharmacy of the medical institution Alla Kazymova. Then they were charged with receiving a bribe in the amount of more than 1.6 million rubles. The third person involved in the case is an entrepreneur, he is accused of bribing officials of a city hospital (part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).^[2]
