2022: Purchase of 8,500 Eltex routers

On February 7, 2022, the Russian Post announced the acquisition of 8,500 domestic Eltex routers for implementation in its branches . More than half of them are already connected in test mode, and in 2022 it is planned to purchase almost 8,000 more units.

One of the main tasks of the Russian Post is to increase the fault tolerance and accessibility of its own network throughout the country. Therefore, devices were needed that included a number of functions: the ability to connect IP telephony endpoint equipment, the availability of software for centralized monitoring and configuration management, support for dynamic routing protocols, as well as IP channel quality monitoring (SLA) functions.

Eltex has proposed the implementation of ESR-12V, a router with integrated telephony services. Thanks to the built-in FXS ports, it allows you to install up to three analog phones and connect them to the telecommunications network without using separate telephone gateways. In addition, the FXO port allows you to reserve a telephone connection over an analog line if there is no communication on the central PBX.

To manage routers, ECCM is used - software that allows you to monitor the state of network equipment in real time, display online device accidents in text and graphics, as well as restore network health after replacing the faulty equipment.

ESR-12V is included in and unified register of Russian electronic products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade ECCM is included in. register of Russian software Mintsifra

Our partners from Eltex have done a great job: not only helped seamlessly switch to their own routers, but also trained our employees. In addition, they finalized the software during the testing process, filling it with new functions that we needed, "said Vadim Gavrilenkov, head of the IT infrastructure and technology platforms of the Russian Post.
