2022: Budget smartwatch from Irbis

Electronics manufacturer IRBIS in March 2022 launched a line of smartwatches on the market . The range includes two models, each connected through Bluetooth 5.0, monitors physical activity and measures blood oxygen saturation. The official distributor is the Russian company Treolan ( part of LANIT).

The release of the IRBIS smartwatch is associated with the increased need for these devices among the domestic audience and the demand for economy-class gadgets. So, in the first half of 2021 in Russia, sales of smart watches in kind exceeded sales of fitness trackers. In particular, this is due to the active entry into the market of inexpensive devices, whose cost is comparable to smart bracelets. Smart watches attract consumers both with a useful set of functions for monitoring health conditions and with a visual component.

The IRBIS smartwatch developed in Russia has the necessary characteristics. They connect to the smartphone to via Bluetooth 5.0, now the connection radius reaches 12 m, and the transfer speed data is twice as fast as the previous version of the devices. The smartwatch is equipped with a pedometer, pulsator blood and an oxygen saturation sensor. Exercises to track physical activity include walking, running, biking, racecourse, badminton, basketball, and soccer. Incoming calls, messages, and weather forecasts are normally displayed on the dial. Devices are configured through the IRBIS Band application based on OS Android and IRBIS FIT based on. With iOS active use, the clock is able to work without recharging for about five days.

Despite the general characteristics, IRBIS smartwatch models have a number of differences. So, IRBIS Evolution turned out to be more functional. They are equipped with remote camera control and music playback. They have a microphone and speaker, which allows you to make calls right from the clock: dial a number, talk and view the history of calls. All this is devoid of simpler IRBIS HERTIME, but they, unlike IRBIS Evolution, are presented in three colors: gold, white and magenta.

The former were more reminiscent of the characteristics of the bracelet, they were deprived of all the modern technologies that we laid down in the Evolution and HERTIME models.
