The Committee of Culture of the Volgograd Region is the executive authority of the Volgograd Region, authorized in the field of culture and art, state management of archival affairs in the Volgograd region, control over the preservation, collection, accounting and use of documents of the archive fund of the Volgograd region as an integral part of the archive fund of the Russian Federation and other archival documents, records management and document management in the executive authorities of the Volgograd region, declassification and extension of the deadlines for classified archival documents of the Volgograd region.
