Users can select the library in the book card in three ways: on the map, by name in the search or using filters. Filters allow you to sort libraries by the presence of the selected book - for this you need to check the box next to the "Available" category, and the service will display all the reading rooms in which there is the desired edition. The filter "There is an online reservation" will show those libraries in which the book of interest can be booked. Searching for the new category "Only in the reading room" will find out if the book of interest is read-only in the library. Another filter will help you find a specific edition of a particular book. In addition, books can still be searched by title, author, publishing, subject matter, series, and other parameters.

The service "Libraries of Moscow" presents books of city libraries: fiction and scientific literature, teaching aids and periodicals. Readers can explore the full catalog or find an interesting edition in thematic collections. The service will also tell you the addresses, phones and opening times of the libraries. In addition, it can extend the period of use of the book and postpone the return date in your personal account. Additionally, you will not need to come to the library.

To use the service, you need a standard or full mos.ru account, as well as a single reading card. It can be designed online or in any city library.

After applying for a reservation, the order will be collected within three days. The user will then have three more days to pick them up. Libraries issue books for up to 30 days, but rare copies may be asked to be returned earlier.

There is a faster way to turn on geolocation in the settings of your smartphone and computer, and the system itself will select the right library. After choosing a reading room, a list of books will appear on the screen. Using built-in filters, they can be sorted by the author's surname and name, publisher's name, year of publication, topic, language and other parameters.

Another tool is the Favorites section. Readers can add books they like here so as not to lose them or return to booking later. About seven thousand unique users took advantage of this opportunity.

Also, on the main page of the service, thematic collections for adults and children are regularly published, in which you can find a book on interests. These are, for example, "Popular Books," "Top 20 Books for Children," "What They Read in the Moscow Metro," "Listen and Hear a Child," a selection of publications of Russian and foreign classics, scientific literature, travel books. Here users can also find out about receipts to library funds.

During the year of operation of the service, books were booked in it more than 67 thousand times. For April 2022, books by contemporary writers Frederick Buckman, Donna Tartt, Maria Parr, Frank Herbert, Ayn Rand and others are popular.

For each order issued in the library, the user is awarded 30 points. You can get up to 150 points within a month.
