The coverage of the digital mobility management platform in the city of Kursk continues to scale. Datapax announced this on September 4, 2023.

The comprehensive digital platform expands the coverage of the management of the route network of the city of Kursk. Since September 1, digital solutions have been launched on buses serving routes No. 15M, No. 94G and No. 98G.

the Russian The development software product allows you to automatically track each bus on the route online. Under the control of the dispatch service - the accuracy of the schedule is literally up to a minute, the safety and speed limit of buses. As well as the system allows you to see the density of passenger traffic and the timeliness of payment for travel.

Since the beginning of the large-scale reform of public transport in Kursk, passengers have already been able to notice positive changes - the quality of transport service, comfort and safety of transportation are improving.

Low-floor buses are available for people with limited mobility, equipped with a climate control system, video surveillance cameras, media panels, validators, a fire detection system and an emergency call device.

Digital service for passengers - the Kursk Transport mobile application is in demand among residents of the city, its popularity is constantly growing. The service was launched in August 2022 and by September 2023, the number of users increased 7 times. Over the year, the application was installed by about 50,000 passengers - every eighth resident of Kursk. About 7,000 people use the service daily to plan their trips by public transport.

The developer of the digital mobility management platform emphasizes: With the help of a mobile application, passengers save up to 10% of travel time, and in general, urban transport becomes more predictable, understandable and flexible.

Launch of an automated platform on 17 buses serving routes No. 43G and No. 89G

As part of the modernization of public transport in the city of Kursk, the scaling of an automated digital platform continues, which provides management and control of transport work. Since June 1, services have been launched on 17 new buses serving routes No. 43G and No. 89G. This was announced on June 7, 2023 by Datapax.

Since the beginning of the year, public transport has been modernized in Kursk, designed to improve the quality of passenger service. The work of carriers is carried out according to the updated model: all collected revenue goes directly to the regional budget, and the administration pays for flights on routes. The carrier is obliged to carry out high-quality transportation of passengers without deviating from the schedule. Only in this case does he receive payment.

The main assistant in passenger transportation management as part of the modernization of the transport system of the city of Kursk is the complex automated digital platform "Datapax," which has been operating in public transport since January 2023. The digital platform provides tools for managing public transport and focuses on performing functions for key transport participants: the region, carriers and passengers.

The region receives a full cycle of services to optimize the route network, control the implementation of transport work and collect ticket revenue, record passenger traffic and identify stowaways. And carriers, in turn, receive tools for automating the processes of a transport enterprise for the best provision of services, methods of planning and execution of flights, monitoring the condition of both vehicles and drivers.

It is important for the passenger that public transport is convenient, safe and runs on schedule. However, even before the passenger got on the bus, he plans the route in advance, estimates the travel time and the possibility of a transfer. That is why an important component of our digital platform is the Kursk Transport mobile application. It combines all the possibilities for the passenger. This is the construction of the optimal route, and the choice of a convenient transfer method, and tracking transport on the map in real time. Thus, the trip becomes planned to the smallest detail and predictable, - said Maxim Isaev, Deputy General Director of Datapax.

The Kursk Transport mobile application is available for download on Google Play and the App Store. The service is popular with passengers, the number of unique users is growing monthly. As of June 2023, the application was installed by about 22,000 people.

Scaling the digital platform to urban electric transport

In Kursk, systematic work continues on the phased implementation of a comprehensive digital platform for managing public transport. In April 2023, digital solutions were scaled to urban electric transport. Datapax announced this on April 25, 2023.

Comprehensive digital solutions allow the city to manage passenger traffic: monitor the implementation of transport work, track a possible deviation from the schedule and promptly adjust the route network. Including seeing the occupancy of transport during peak hours. And based on these data, make competent management decisions. For example, increase the number of vehicles on a certain route.

With the help of a digital system, data is accumulated that allows you to see all the dynamics, the entire trend of the situation. After corrective actions have been taken to optimize the route network, you can see how they affected the situation. And all this is online. It is not necessary for this to carry out some special research expensive work.

Due to the integrated use of digital services, public transport will become more predictable and attractive for passengers. The accuracy of the schedule will be about 98%.

Launch of an automated digital system for managing public transport

An automated digital public transport management system presented by Datapax, which announced this on September 15, 2022, has been launched in Kursk. It will allow the city to effectively manage the transport park: adjust routes, form a convenient schedule and control transport work.

Together with the Committee of Transport and Roads of the Kursk Region, comprehensive digital solutions have been launched as part of the modernization of passenger transport in the city of Kursk. Buses and trolleybuses were connected to the new navigation and dispatching system. Trolleybuses No. 050 and No. 051 have passenger traffic monitoring sensors that calculate the number of passengers who entered and left, and validators for paying for travel using bank cards. In these vehicles, stowaways are monitored, in an automated comparison mode, the number of passengers and the number of registered transactions.

In the mobile application "Kursk Transport" earned a "smart" fare payment in one click. This service is available on trolleybus routes No. 050 and No. 051. Passengers no longer need to attach a card to the validator - you can stay in the cabin and only after that calmly start paying. The mobile application, interacting with special sensors, independently determines which route the vehicle follows, at which stop the user entered and how much the fare costs. It remains only to confirm the cancellation of the fare with one click. The boarding time for transport with this method of payment is reduced by 30%. You can also pay for travel by reading the QR code on a sticker located in the trolleybus cabin.

In the Kursk Transport mobile application, passengers can also find out the current schedule, lay a convenient route, track traffic on a map in real time, find out the predicted arrival time at the desired stop. The app is available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

We prioritize, first of all, the convenience and safety of passengers. Public transport, which runs on a scheduled basis and provides various fare payment options, is becoming more attractive to residents of the city, as well as increasing the prestige of the region. Our comprehensive digital system is aimed at this: the region has an effective tool for managing traffic flows, and passengers have services for route planning and fare payment, - commented Maxim Isaev, Deputy General Director of Datapax.

{{quote 'As part of the ongoing transport reform, the standard of external and internal equipment is being introduced in Kursk public transport. The rules were developed in order to improve the quality of service and inform passengers. In addition, at the end of 2022, 50 new large-capacity buses will arrive in the Kursk region, and from January 1, 2023, buses will begin to operate on the route network. Also at the beginning of 2023, 15 new trolleybuses with increased autonomous travel will arrive in the Kursk region. All vehicles will be adapted for the transportation of passengers with limited mobility, - said Alexander Vasilchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Transport and Roads of the Kursk Region. }}

Launch of the SberTroika ticket system and Datapax digital services

On June 28, 2022, Datapax announced that public transport payments became available in Kursk using the SberTroika ticket system on route No. 8.

SberTroika has launched a ticket system in the 20th region of Russia.

The ticket solution allows you to pay for travel in any convenient way: by bank card or cash. In the first case, trips by public transport will become more profitable - the cost when paying with a bank card is 20 rubles, for cash payment - 25 rubles. With preferential transport cards or cash, travel still needs to be paid through the conductor terminal.

The transport solution of SberTroika not only simplifies the payment process for passengers of public transport, but also becomes the first step towards digitalization of the Kursk region.

File:Aquote1.png
On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow. Sobyanin, we continue to introduce the Moscow ticket system outside the capital. Kursk is already 20 regions where our transport solution has started working. We are glad that more than 33 million residents can use the Moscow ticket system based on the Troika card - from Karelia to Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Passengers throughout the country can pay Troika for travel in different types of transport - both in their own city and where our transport decision is in effect, "said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.

An automated digital public transport management system developed by Datapax has also been launched in Kursk. Vehicles are equipped with high-precision sensors for monitoring passenger traffic, which analyze the number of passengers who entered and left. For non-cash payment of travel in the cabin, modern validators are installed.

Within the framework of the project, the Kursk Transport mobile application will begin work, in which passengers will receive information about the location and movement of vehicles on the map and a forecast of the arrival of vehicles at the stop. The app will be available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

The comprehensive digital platform will accumulate and analyze all the collected data, which will allow the city to effectively manage the trolleybus fleet: adjust routes, form a convenient schedule and control travel fees.
