Burger King and KFC in Russia are switching to drinks from Chernogolovka instead of Coca-Cola and Pepsi

Customers: Burger King

Contractors: Chernogolovka

Project date: 2022/06

At the end of June 2022, it became known that fast food chains Burger King and KFC in Russia are switching to drinks from Chernogolovka instead of Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

According to RIA Novosti, KFC restaurants in Moscow by the end of June 2022 had already included carbonated water and cola from Chernogolovka, as well as May-Thai and Pina-Colada lemonades. Burger King began selling Chernogolovka drinks only in some of its locations, however, as employees of one of the chain's metropolitan restaurants told the agency, the products will soon be available for purchase at all fast food outlets. The company has already concluded an agreement with Chernogolovka, according to RIA Novosti, and in the near future seven different lemonades of the brand will be presented in restaurants, according to a publication dated June 29, 2022.

I want the consumer to understand - we are here forever, we will not go anywhere. If it is in Burger King or KFC, we will always be there, "said Natalia Sakhnina, CEO of Chernogolovka.

By this day, Coca-Cola did not stop selling in the establishments of the "successor" of McDonald's in Russia - the fast service network "Tasty - and the point." The head of the company noted that she managed to make a certain stock of products, but sooner or later it will run out.

Restaurants have also begun to search for an alternative to Coca-Cola: after the company leaves the Russian market, they are negotiating with large beverage manufacturers, and also offer their own lemonades as a replacement.

In June 2022, Coca-Cola announced that the company would stop producing the drink of the same name and products under its other brands in Russia. The manufacturer and its customers said they were selling off the remaining stocks of products, after which the company's goods would not be presented on the Russian market.[1]
