2022: Plan for the installation of post offices at 32 bus stations and bus stations

On July 5, 2022, Russian Post announced that it would install post offices at 32 bus stations and bus stations in Mostransavto. The devices have already appeared in Voskresensk, Dmitrov, Ruza and other cities of the Moscow region.

The mail chose locations with high passenger traffic so that customers pick up parcels without changing the usual route. In post offices, you can get pre-paid orders from Russian and foreign online stores. And by the end of the year, it will be possible to pay for parcels with a card through the POS terminal.

The development of the postal network is one of the priority projects of the Russian Post, which will significantly expand the network for issuing items. Therefore, we always choose locations with maximum traffic, and bus stations are perfect for this. In 2022, we are also testing sending parcels through post offices to expand the capabilities of our devices, "said Alexey Laptev, Deputy General Director of the Russian Post for Operational Management and Retail.

The innovation will increase the level of service at our bus stations and bus stations, so that on the way to work, study or just to meet with friends, residents and guests of the Moscow region can comfortably receive Internet orders or parcels within walking distance from the desired stop and route. In the near future, post offices will be installed in various cities of the Moscow region, - said Mostransavto.

As of July 2022, the Russian Post has almost 5,000 of its own post offices in the largest cities of Russia. They are installed in the most passable points: pharmacies, supermarkets, shopping centers and crossings at Moscow metro stations. In addition, the Post is testing autonomous post offices in the entrances of residential buildings. Twenty such machines have already been installed and are operating in Moscow and the Moscow region.
