2022: Announcement of the system

In mid-August 2022, Goad JSC Concern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET) announced the creation of a system capable of disorganizing Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles. According to Alexander Pan, CEO of the company, the technology is being tested.

He noted that Bayraktar is TV2 out of reach for MANPADS and artillery at the maximum flight altitude. But if it comes with a full combat load, then the flight altitude decreases to 5-6 km and the drone "falls into the range of the receiver medium-caliber artillery." Also, in order to disable the drone, it is enough to suppress its communication channel with the operator through the radar - in this case it becomes useless.^[1]
