2022: Announcement of the system

Шаблон:Quote "We work on this topic on the entire spectrum of drones used in the civilian sector and in the military field," he said (quoted by Interfax).

According to Alexander Pan, the system is able to force the drone to land or lead it away from the flight path. At the same time, he did not disclose the details of the technology.

By August 2022 Turkey , it had already exported 96 Bayraktar TB2 drones around the world, including to Poland, which became the first the European buyer. Two governmental defense export officials told Defense News that potential buyers are,,,, Great Britain,, Hungary,,, and Latvia Lithuania. Saudi Arabia Bosnia and Herzegovina Serbia Slovakia Uruguay Albania

Bayraktar TV2 flies at an altitude of 8.5 km and is well detected by ordinary stations of standard air defense systems and missile and cannon systems, Konstantin Sivkov, Doctor of Military Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences, told Gazeta.Ru. He noted that Bayraktar is TV2 out of reach for MANPADS and artillery at the maximum flight altitude. But if it comes with a full combat load, then the flight altitude decreases to 5-6 km and the drone "falls into the range of the receiver medium-caliber artillery." Also, in order to disable the drone, it is enough to suppress its communication channel with the operator through the radar - in this case it becomes useless.[1]
