2022: Development of a new test laboratory management functionality based on 1C: Enterprise solutions

Specialists of the Kazan office "1C-Rarus" have developed an updated functionality for managing a test laboratory based on solutions "1C: Enterprise" for the accredited center of LLC "IRZ TEST." This was announced by the company "1C-Rarus" on September 2, 2022. This subsystem allows the company to work in a single information space, manage the process of testing the electronic component base, components and equipment, as well as generate the necessary reports.

The company is responsible for the quality control of manufactured equipment and components that are used in production. The accredited test center of IRZ TEST LLC is responsible for this, which specializes in conducting additional and certification tests of the electronic component base (ECB), finished products and equipment. After the start of the project to modernize the corporate information system and the transfer of the plant to the 1C: Enterprise platform, there was a gap between the updated system and the processes of the test laboratory, which was not primarily part of the project. IRZ TEST also decided to abandon the previous automation system in favor of 1C programs.

To work during the transition period, a separate b1C:  ERP base was created, where data on items and tests were loaded. The test results in semi-manual mode were transferred to the  main ERP system. This approach was optimal during the transition period, but as the main project was completed, some limitations were fixed.

Firstly, the development of a separate 1C:ERP base was carried out using not all the rules and standards of development adopted on the main project. Secondly, production and regulated accounting were kept in different databases. The accounting department "IRZ TEST" worked in the main base, and the testing laboratory  - in a separate one. Thirdly, the test results were loaded into the main database in manual mode, due to which the efficiency and reliability of the data could suffer.

1C-Rarus specialists carried out work to transfer the functionality and normalize all improvements based on the standard for developing a unified 1C:ERP system. A separate subsystem "Tests" was created , with the help of which the test laboratory is controlled.

Project results:

  • The functionality of conducting tests for subcontracted and purchased ECB, testing of components and finished products has been implemented.
  • Various processes are configured depending on the type of tests: incoming inspection, rejection tests, diagnostic non-destructive testing, selective destructive analysis, tests for the impact of mechanical  iclimatic factors, resource tests, information  safety tests.
  • The data on the test equipment were synchronized with the data on the regulated accounting in terms of the date of equipment verification.
  • Automated creation of the "Conclusions" document.
  • Reports have been developed to track the location of the ECB and form summary conclusions.
  •  On the basis of the 1C: Document Flow system, an automated workstation (AWS) has been developed that allows you to upload information about the tests performed to the customer and promptly obtain approval of the results of these tests.

In September 2022, all IRZ TEST services work in the base of the 1C:ERP Group of Companies Izhevsk Radio Plant . It was extremely important for the company to work in a single circuit. Any errors when transferring data could negatively affect the work. Based on the  test results and incoming inspection received from the Testing subsystem, a decision is made  whether these components and equipment can be used in production or not.
