2022: Implementation of the ASCON and Renga Software solution for the transition to information modeling technology

The International Construction Company (MSC) has begun introducing domestic digital solutions that implement information modeling technology. The current projects of the organization use the Renga design system and the Pilot-BIM shared data environment. This was reported by Ascon Group of Companies on October 13, 2022.

MSC is engaged in integrated design and construction of civil and industrial facilities, restoration of objects of cultural and historical significance. Many of its facilities are located abroad: in Egypt, Mexico, Japan, Cuba. Projects for their reconstruction and restoration were commissioned by the Office of the President of the Russian Federation FSUE "Enterprise for Property Management Abroad."

With the help of domestic software, infrastructure facilities of the airport complex of the city of Stavropol are being developed. MSC specialists master Renga in the process of modeling architectural and design solutions. In the Pilot-BIM environment, a consolidated IFC model is assembled, checked for collisions, and comments on the documentation are issued.

The company is just starting to immerse itself in domestic BIM, but it already expects that gradually all projects will be carried out using information modeling technology. For the company, the use of systems will not be limited to the stages of design and construction of facilities, but will also affect their operation. This will allow you to structure and update existing information in a single database on the object, monitor the state of the building and maintain it in a timely manner,
noted Vladimir Hertz, BIM manager of the International Construction Company.
