2022: Digital accounting of containers for freshly caught fish in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug using the RFID label "S-Tag JD-mini"

S-Tag RFID tags, development and production of the Siltek Group of Companies, are used in the pilot project of digital registration of containers for freshly caught fish in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. This was announced by the company "Siltek" on November 25, 2022.

The task of the first stage of the project, initiated by the Department of Information Technologies and Communications and the Department of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, is to move from paper to digital with increased control over the movement of aquatic biological resources along the technological chain from catch to arrival at the processing enterprise. In the future, it is planned to ensure the tracking of raw materials until the end consumer receives it: information on the history of catch and all production processes should be available in the form of a digital code directly on the packaging of the finished product.

At the first stage of the project, the automated accounting system looks like this: certified fish farms and private fishermen load the catch into boxes, marked RFID-tags, deliver them to the places of acceptance, where the operator, with the help mobile application of, enters into the system a unique identifier box and the entire set of raw material parameters - the type and variety of fish, the catch area, etc. After this verification, the boxes are loaded into the hold, watercrafts which is transported by a special tug to the fish factory. The operator at the factory data reads the labels of the box, can sort them, do additional weighing, write a comment about the discrepancy. Then the boxes with fish are transferred to the primary processing cutting station, where the raw materials are distributed for transition to the semi-finished product state: for freezing, for recycling, re-sorting. After that, the fish leaves for further processing.

At each stage of the route, the responsible employee creates an event in the mobile application, checks the parameters of the boxes, forms an electronic certificate of acceptance of raw materials. The application has an administrative panel where you can view the entire chain of events and documents from the moment of catch to receipt at the plant,
told Roman Belomytsev, project manager of Phoenix LLC.

A large trend in accounting for recycled containers and products that are transported in it is an urgent task in 2022. Siltek RFID tags, in particular S-Tag JD-mini, allow you not only to quantify the container, but also to assign it a unique identifier that captures accounting data and traces the logistics of this particular product box at all stages of the supply chain. The label "S-Tag JD-mini" contains the necessary characteristics for this: it is resistant to the effects of aggressive environments and climate; its antenna provides reading of the mark from a comfortable distance for the operator; and the features of the chip allow group identification of the boxes, taking into account the personal number of each of them,
commented Maxim Selivanov, Director of the Department of Safety Technologies of the Siltek Group of Companies.

The project software was developed by Phoenix. 140 boxes marked with S-Tag JD-mini radio tags take part in the pilot; in the same project, the vehicle identification system on which the catch is carried out is tested.
