The loading and fuel control system for open-pit dump trucks ensures uniform and accurate loading of dump trucks without underloads and overloads, significantly increasing the average operational productivity, safety of operation and increasing the service life of the equipment, thereby reducing the cost of transport work.
2024: The ability to carry out automatic diagnostics of the state of the pneumohydraulic suspension
GK Zyfra"" has developed functional modules for the system for monitoring the loading and fuel of open-pit dump trucks - "Zyfra. CDSiT. " Now the system will be able to carry out automatic diagnostics of the state of the pneumohydraulic suspension, build a road quality map and track the quality of driving. This development allows us to deepen the diagnosis of the technical condition of the dump truck and assess the impact on it of the state of roads and driving manners. Additional modules allow you to find reserves to increase the economic performance of transport the facility. The company announced this on October 17, 2024.
The module for diagnostics of the technical condition of pneumohydraulic shock absorbers allows monitoring the serviceability of the dump truck suspension in real time. Notification of the driver and those responsible for maintenance of the machines about the condition of the shock absorbers is implemented in the form of a traffic light: if the equipment is serviceable, then it is marked with a green indicator on the onboard panel of the dump truck and in operational production control systems, if deviations in its operation are detected - yellow, and if repairs are required - red. The tool allows you to better plan maintenance and repair of the suspension without relying on the experience and qualifications of the driver.
The software and functional module "Road Quality Control" is based on algorithms that assess the state of the road (pits, hillocks, etc.) when moving a loaded pit dump truck based on recorded changes in the pressure of the front and rear suspension. The final result of these calculations is a road quality map, which helps in planning the work of road services. The system also collects and analyzes data on the impact of road irregularities on the power units of a mining dump truck during movement. This analysis will be useful to ensure timely maintenance and safe operation of the machines.
The "Driving Quality" module determines the quality and manner of driving (sharp braking, acceleration, compliance with the speed limit) and evaluates their impact on the technical condition of dump trucks. These data can be used to assess a driver's qualifications and identify links between driving violations and breakdowns.
You can use these modules on an existing CMS. And the decision itself "Figure. The loading and fuel control system "can be used both autonomously and as part of the flagship product for the mining industry - the mining dispatching system" Figure. Quarry. "
Taking into account the restrictions on the import of foreign software and the penetration of mining equipment from new manufacturers into the Russian market, we see great prospects for our loading and fuel control system. Basic version of "Zyfra. SKZiT, "reinforced by modules, is compatible with most of the trucks on the market with a carrying capacity of 50 tons or more, - explained Nikolai Godunov, executive director of the Mining Industry division of the Zyfra Group of Companies. - We also highly appreciate the need for such solutions for small-tonnage machines - with a carrying capacity of 20 to 60 tons - of road trucks. They are actively used by Russian enterprises, and new foreign suppliers, including from India and China, also penetrate this sector. We recently completed the development of the SKZiT version for road trucks with a carrying capacity of 20-40 tons and began testing it in real production conditions. |
2022: Launch of an upgraded version of the loading and fuel control system (CMS) for mine dump trucks
The Russian expert of digitalization of the mining industry "VIST Group" launches an upgraded version of the loading and fuel control system (SKZiT) for mine dump trucks. This was announced on December 15, 2022 by the Zyfra Group of Companies. It included methods of operational control of the technical condition of the structure of the dump truck based on digital models.
The key effects of this modification are the extension of the life of frames and suspensions, the reduction of the total time of emergency downtime, as well as the improvement of efficiency in industries by reducing possible breakdowns. In real time, the new CDS transmits information about the current state of the quarry equipment and the accumulated level of fatigue damage, first to the digital interface of the dump truck, and then to external operational systems. Based on this data, the engineer makes a decision about the need for intervention in operation, the need for service and diagnostics.
Domestic solutions of the same quality for December 2022 do not exist. This system is analogous to Western VIMS (Caterpillar) and PLM (Komatsu), however, unlike them, it can be installed on a dump truck of any brand and model. In addition, another feature of the solution is the ability to install additional functionality, for example, digital tips for driving dump trucks, said Dmitry Sizemov, technical director of VIST Group.

In future releases, the company is going to add solutions such as driver fatigue control, environment control, an interim data exchange buffer for enterprises with insufficient radio coverage to the system. The development will be implemented by optimizing the internal filling of the system without compromising the current functionality. The product complies with the current request for import substitution and is produced in Russia using domestic materials, shared the general director of the GC "Figure " Sergey Emelchenkov.
