2022: Acquisition by Kokoc Group for 80 million rubles

Kokoc Group on December 23, 2022 announced the acquisition of the Yagla platform. The transaction amount is more than 80 million rubles. The online service will be combined with the marketing platform for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB-segment) Vitamin.tools.

Despite the fact that the digital advertising market after the pandemic is developing in leaps and bounds, and the pandemic, in turn, has only accelerated the transition to digitalization, there are still promising and unreached areas in the industry. For Kokoc Group, it is automation of all processes to provide a full range of services in a single window format. That is why the company took another step in this direction.

It is expected that in 2023 the platform will bring more than 250 million rubles in revenue, while revenue from the SMB segment of the Kokoc Group of companies in 2022 alone increased fivefold compared to the previous 2021.

While the Vitamin.tools platform has a number of pluses, some marketing tools - such as hypersegmentation - are still missing. In addition, over the past few years, Yagla has been building marketing courses, actively developing this area, in particular, car debinars. This in turn attracts an additional pool of customers.

Teaming up with Yagla is a decision made in step with the times. Such a collaboration will give us the opportunity not only to increase the number of our clients, but also to combine the most popular tools into a single ecosystem, and start offering a boxed solution that allows any user to receive the service seamlessly and clearly, - said Denis Kabalkin, CEO of Vitamin.tools.

Over the past year, Yagla has actively begun to turn into an advertising ecosystem. About 2.5 million readers a year come to the relevant media. We come to learn advertising technologies 5-6 thousand people a month. These same people become users of tools for purchasing, automating and optimizing advertising. To fully implement this strategy and further expand customer opportunities, we needed a strong advertising strategist in the partner role. We saw a lot of synergy with already working products and teams inside the Kokoc Group, - said Alexander Alimov, CEO of Yagla.

With this deal, Vitamin.tools will have a strong team and a large media resource. And the client base of the platform will increase by at least 30-40%.

We understand that despite the crisis, there are areas in which purchases are relevant at any time. These include marketplaces, EdTech, and MarTech for the SMB segment. This deal just refers to a tool for solving the problems of small and medium-sized businesses, whose representatives react more sharply to any external fluctuations, - concluded Alexander Shokurov, CEO of Kokoc Group.
