Company History

GURU Corporation was founded by Eugene Maurus with the help of Pavel Maurus simultaneously with the creation of the first site. In the beginning, it was more like a hobby than a full-fledged company.

In April 2002, the first site in the GURU line dedicated to computer games was launched - GameGuru.ru. A year later, the site gained sufficient popularity and recognition, began to earn the first money. In this regard, it was decided to open a second site in the GURU line.

In October 2003, a site dedicated to cell phones was launched - MobiGuru.ru, which also entered the top ten sites of its theme in less than a year.

In December 2004, the third site was launched - dedicated to CarsGuru.ru cars, which also entered the top ten car sites a year later.

In July 2006, the company appeared officially - a legal entity was registered, the company had the first small office in the form of one room measuring 15 meters, as well as the first 4 full-time employees.

In November 2006, the company moved to a new Open Space office measuring 35 meters, where we already had 8 people.

Due to the fact that new people appeared, the sites began to develop even faster, and GameGuru.ru with MobiGuru.ru entered the top 3 of their categories.

In April 2007, MobiGuru.ru became site No. 1 in the category "Communication" by the size of the monthly audience.

In the summer of 2007, the company again moved to a new office with an area of ​ ​ 50 meters, where 14 people already worked. Six months later, the staff increased to 20 people, the office - almost 100 meters.

In September 2008, a global crisis arrived, which rallied our team even stronger.

In November 2008, the fourth site was launched - a showcase for choosing and buying household appliances and electronics. TechGuru.ru

In early 2009, GURU Corporation became part of RBS Corporation.

In March 2009, the company, together with the RBS Corporation, moved to a new class A office measuring 2200 meters, which is located on the fourth floor of the Yerevan Plaza shopping center. At that time, the company had a little less than 30 people.

In June 2010, Guru Corporation again moved with RBS Corporation to a new office in the Omega Plaza business center measuring 2500 meters.

In February 2011, they launched the FinanceGuru.ru website dedicated to forex trading together with the financial company partner EuroTrust.

As of September 2011, the team consists of 50 highly qualified employees, the office is 300 meters. At this time, attendance:

• GameGuru.ru amounts to 5,600,000 persons per month,
• MobiGuru.ru - 2,200,000 persons per month and
• CarsGuru.ru - 2,200,000 people per month.
