During the development of the ECP.MIS software, on the basis of which the state information system in the field of health care of the Republic of Karelia was built, a large amount of work was done on interaction with VIMIS in the profiles of Preventive Medicine, Oncology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Neonatology. In accordance with the latest methodological recommendations, the integration processes have been updated, the corresponding centralized subsystems have been implemented. Thus, the principle of single input and repeated use of information is implemented. Now the doctor enters the data in one system, and they are displayed immediately in the medical organization, at the regional and federal levels.

Additional modules for monitoring pregnant women digitize the process from pregnancy planning and preparation to delivery and maternal and newborn follow-up. Digitalization will ensure the storage of data on the provided cases of medical care in a single cloud, which contributes to the continuity of the provision of medical care and will allow assessing the dynamics of health conditions, making more accurate prescriptions.

25 standardized electronic medical documents were also implemented, including to comply with federal regulations. In particular, notifications are formed about the identification of contraindications or the cancellation of medical reports for the possession of weapons.
