2023: Moscow DIT specialist wins Silver Dagger Industry Information Security Award

Experts of the National Forum in the field of information security "" Infoforum noted the contribution of specialists from the capital Department of Information Technology to the formation and development of knowledge in the field of information security. Moscow Artem Kungurtsev, head of the information security department of DIT, became the laureate of the Silver Dagger professional prize, awarded within the framework of Infoforum.

"We attach great importance to the formation of knowledge in terms of information security when working on the network not only among specialists. Today, it is especially important to know and be able to apply the rules of digital hygiene: many everyday tasks Muscovites are used to solving online. Last year, on the mos.ru portal, we launched a comprehensive project "Internet Security." He tells citizens in an accessible form how to protect their data on the Internet, teaches them to safely handle personal information, and also reminds them of the danger of spam, simple passwords and open profiles on social networks, "said Artem Kungurtsev, head of the Information Security Department of the Moscow City Information Technology Department.

He also noted that on the basis of the Smart City pavilion at VDNH, conferences, webinars and seminars on information security are regularly held for citizens.

For employees of the executive authorities of Moscow, DIT specialists have developed and are constantly updating methodological documents on the implementation of the requirements of information security legislation, and regularly conduct training sessions with responsible specialists.

In 2022, two unique industry courses for information security specialists and managers were launched, which ensure the protection of information in authorities and organizations. The first course flow, aimed at healthcare professionals, has been successfully completed. About 350 specialists will be able to undergo training for each of these programs every year.

The Silver Dagger Professional Information Security Award was established by the Organizing Committee of the Infoforum National Information Security Forum in 2004. The award is a symbol of recognition of the professional contribution of specialists and organizations to the development and formation of a safe information society in the Russian Federation. In 2023, the prize is awarded for the 20th time. Over the years, more than 150 specialists and teams from Russia and foreign countries have become laureates of the award.
