LAZURIT continues to develop logistics together with AXELOT, another warehouse of the company has been automated, this time in Sofyino. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on February 28, 2024.

TD Lazurit already uses AXELOT WMS at one of its warehouses and has been convinced of its effectiveness. Therefore, to work on the next project, the company's management invited AXELOT specialists.

Cooperation between TD Lazurit and AXELOT on the creation of a warehouse complex began at the stage. constructions In order to draw up a plan for the arrangement of technical areas in this warehouse complex and draw up recommendations for organizing processes, AXELOT specialists focused on a previously automated warehouse. At the same time, work began on the design of the layout of the warehouse management system, which was also based on the functionality of the already commissioned solution from AXELOT.

The area of ​ ​ the warehouse complex in Sofyino is 19,000 sq.m. The AXELOT WMS configuration developed for the previous project was used to automate it, but since the business processes in the warehouse complex are somewhat different, AXELOT specialists have configured additional functionality and algorithms.

It is noteworthy that, since the project team from the Lazurit TD at the time of the project had already studied AXELOT WMS well, the customer implemented part of the functionality in the system on its own, after which AXELOT analysts audited and made sure that the changes made to the logic of the system were correct.

From the changes for TD "Lazurit" - in AXELOT WMS there was an automatic planning of the placement of the received goods primarily in the same section in which the goods of the same type as the planned for placement already lie. At the same time, WMS takes into account the rules of compatibility of goods and the rules of distribution between storage and sampling zones.

Some automated business processes have been optimized, for example, the shelf life rule has been changed, the acceptance rules for some product groups have been simplified, and the printing of the packing list has been added after monitoring the shipment of the goods by composition.

The integration solution based on DATAREON ESB was designed and launched during the previous joint project, and it was also used to integrate AXELOT WMS with the Lazurit warehouse information system in Sofyino.

The use of the finished WMS configurations and the finished integration solution allowed the project team to reduce the overall time of the warehouse automation project.

The participation of AXELOT specialists in the project of creating a warehouse complex from the very first stages made it possible to comprehensively approach the task of automation taking into account the recommendations made earlier on the organization of storage and creation of universal business processes. For example, the implementation of proposals for the use of one typical configuration for all lines of warehouse racks, as well as the organization of a storage area for highly rotating positions in the first sections of each rack in the immediate vicinity of the gate, made it possible to achieve an even distribution of product flows, reduce idle runs of equipment and intersections of equipment in rack rows. The warehouse has a flexible storage system, which maintains a high speed of operations, regardless of peak loads.

The implementation of AXELOT WMS at the Lazurit warehouse complex in Sofyino guarantees a high speed of operations and real-time monitoring of warehouse operations. Lazurit TD specialists are confident users of AXELOT WMS, they know what the system is capable of, and use the warehouse management system as a tool to optimize the operation of the warehouse and increase its efficiency.

2023: Warehouse Automation

TD Lazurit automated its warehouse using Axelot WMS X5. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on February 20, 2023.

LLC "Trading House" Lazurit "is a network for the sale of body and soft furniture. The company has 560 salons in 170 cities of the country as of February 2023. The range of presented products is constantly growing and replenished with new models.

To ensure a high speed of fulfillment of orders and the corresponding level of service, the company took up the issue of automation of warehouse logistics. Based on the experience and feedback of other users, the Lazurit TD management chose the AXELOT WMS X5 system for implementation.

The use of AXELOT WMS X5 significantly accelerated the processing of goods in stock and made it possible to minimize dependence on "experts": now the quality and speed of operations is not related to the personal knowledge of the employee about the product, the rules of the commodity neighborhood and its storage place. The warehouse managed to completely get away from "paper technology," which also had a positive effect on the speed of warehouse processes, as well as increased the accuracy of accounting for goods and control over the execution of operations.
