2023: Amphibious Robot Development
The capital company "Special Design and Technology Bureau of Applied Robotics" has developed a multifunctional amphibious robot that can be used for reconnaissance and elimination of the consequences of accidents at various flooded facilities, nuclear power plants and mines. The production of the enterprise is localized on the territory of the special economic zone "Technopolice Moscow." This was announced on March 17, 2023 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.
To Moscow industries mechanical engineering In March 2023, about 200 enterprises are employed, including those that produce and, industrial service robots as well as robotic systems. Industrialists offer solutions that can replace a person in heavy and dangerous industries. For example, the company "Special Design and Technological Bureau of Applied," robotics which localized production on the territory of the SEZ "Technopolice" Moscow, "has developed a robotic amphibious complex for clearing flooded premises. As of March 2023, the company's assortment includes more than 20 models of robots of different classes and purposes that can work remotely under human control in dangerous conditions, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. |
The complex is used on land and underwater. The operator remotely controls the robot through the remote control, and monitors the work using the video system.
The development has already been tested in salt water and at high doses of radiation. The robot is capable of working at a depth of up to 4 meters, lifting and carrying up to 25 kg of cargo under water. On land, it can be used in the analysis of debris after an earthquake, for reconnaissance, emergency rescue, explosive engineering work.
The complex consists of a mobile robot - a four-track chassis with a manipulator, various equipment and a remote control post. A land mobile robotic complex developed by SKTB PR in 2018 was taken as a prototype. Modernization of the existing design made it possible to solve new complex problems.
SKTB PR has been operating on the territory of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ since 2013 and has been producing multifunctional robotic complexes and special-purpose systems for the nuclear industry, safety agencies and the Ministry of Emergencies. The equipment developed by the company has been introduced at a number of nuclear power plants, in particular, it repairs spent nuclear fuel pools of a new type of nuclear power plant, "said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Moscow Technopolice SEZ. |
According to the developer, the multifunctional amphibious robot has no analogues in the world.
According to the received terms of reference, we had to develop a robot with a manipulator capable of conducting visual reconnaissance on land and in water, descending to a depth of 3.5 meters along destroyed flights of stairs, overcoming debris, clearing passages, capturing and transporting cargo up to 20 kg. During the tests, the robot showed compliance with all the declared requirements for technical and functional characteristics. In addition, the complex can successfully carry out reconnaissance and rescue and emergency work in mines, including flooded ones, as well as under the rubble formed during earthquakes, - said Ilya Laverychev, Deputy General Director of SKTB PR. |
