Optimization of yard management in warehouses with the help of "Korus Consulting"
KORUS Consulting"" started the yard management system for "." " Rusagro Oil It will reduce dock downtime and cargo transport increase the speed and throughput of finished product warehouses. This was announced on September 12, 2023 by the KORUS company. Consulting
Since 2021, Rusagro Maslo has been using a comprehensive solution for the use of integrated systems at raw materials sites, which was launched with the help of KORUS Consulting. The system showed operational efficiency, so part of the complex (TMS and YMS) decided to gradually scale up to the production of finished products. The pilot site was chosen by the Saratov Fat Plant, which has three warehouses. The project began with the launch of the yard management system, which KORUS Consulting experts developed specifically for Rusagro Maslo. She helped the Saratov enterprise organize the flows of finished products and systematize the order of machines.
Previously, the sequence of machines for loading on the territory of the plant was not controlled - it was determined manually by warehouse operators. This led to the fact that extra machines could be uncontrolled on the territory of the plant, which disrupted the planned schedule of loading and unloading windows.
With the help of YMS, specialists systematized the process of admitting vehicles coming for download. Slotting, shipping schedule, signal about the beginning of assembly of orders for the WMS system, management of warehouse docks, informing drivers appeared. Warehouses received statistics on the processing of transport, thanks to which it was possible to more effectively manage the volume of finished products that the site misses per day.
The updated system provided two options for registering transport: through a self-registration terminal and a special chat bot. This made it possible to simplify the process and reduce waiting times at the mill site. Also, within the framework of the project, a client portal was developed for Rusagro Maslo, where you can select a warehouse, slot in advance and sign up for loading.
In the first two weeks of the experimental operation of the solution, KORUS Consulting experts accompanied all the processes live at the company's site: they trained staff, advised on the functionality of the system. As a result of the project, the company received a yard management system (YMS), which helped reduce the downtime of docks and freight transport, increase the speed and capacity of the warehouse.
We strive to provide the oil and oil business of Rusagro not only with current technological solutions, but also with the knowledge, experience, expertise necessary for effective management of logistics operations. We help you to look at the entire chain of processes and optimize logistics so that you can achieve maximum synergy between the various components of the company. This will avoid redundant operations, improve resource utilization, and improve overall business efficiency. noted project manager Galia Islamova, KORUS Consulting Group of Companies.

Optimization of sunflower logistics and procurement with LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru
Rusagro's fat and fat business uses the mathematical twin of supply chains from KORUS Consulting to optimize logistics and procurement of sunflower. With the LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru solution, Rusagro Maslo plans to achieve maximum transparency of raw material supply chain costs. This was announced on May 15, 2023 by KORUS Consulting.
Rusagro Group - expert. agribusiness Russia The holding is engaged production in fat and fat products, sugar, pig-breeding crop production and sells products in 60 countries of the world and 80 cities. To Russia build a systematic approach in logistics and the optimal use of elevator capacities in a fat and fat business unit, the company manages digitized the supply chains of raw materials.
Earlier, the company used a traditional approach to planning the supply of sunflower seeds, in which specialists relied on expert opinion and spreadsheet data. This led to queues of vehicles at the unloading of oil extraction plants and underutilization of elevators. The company suffered temporary and financial losses due to the inefficient use of its own fleet and inflated tariffs for hired vehicles. The management of Rusagro Maslo decided to develop a mathematical twin that allows building and testing various configurations of supply chains in a risk-free environment. The holding chose supply chain planning experts of KORUS Consulting Group as a project partner. In 2022, the department stood out as a subsidiary of LAMACON.
The specialists collected the customer's requirements, data and prerequisites for modeling. With the LLamasoft Supply Chain solution, Guru developed a one-year tactical model with a focus on the sunflower harvest season. It determines the optimal capacity utilization of factories and elevators, allowing you to take into account the short harvest period. The seasonal model is a reference point for the preparation of a supply scheme in accordance with the plans for the purchase of raw materials in the context of territories. It is expected that its use will reduce total operating costs by up to 13%.
Also, experts have created an operational model with a planning horizon "next day," which allows you to more efficiently distribute the already purchased volume in accordance with the situation at factories and elevators. Both models are complementary solutions and together allow you to track the compliance of operational solutions with strategic goals. The potential economic effect of the models was tested against historical data.
In order for the planning process in the company to be end-to-end, and the data from the solution can be used by other systems, specialists have set up integration mechanisms.
As of May 2023, Rusagro Maslo has formed an internal competence center for modeling and optimizing supply chains, its specialists are trained to work with this solution. This will allow the company to develop the created mathematical models and use LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru on other circuits of the fat and fat business area.
The oil and fat division of Rusagro initiated a project special for the agro-industrial sector: it completely digitized the management of supply chains from the moment of purchase of raw materials to its arrival at factories. Such transparency will help the holding more efficiently use the capacities of its own elevators, increase the flexibility of supply chain management and equalize the load of oil extraction plants. For the project, the company has developed two consistent mathematical twin models that will allow the company to quickly respond to changing farmer offerings and transport affordability while saving money, commented Dmitry Krasilov, General Director of LAMACON (formerly - Supply Chain Planning Department at KORUS Consulting Group of Companies).

High competition requires the company to improve operational efficiency. To do this, the most resource-intensive processes are digitized using current solutions at each section of the raw material chain. With the help of KORUS Consulting experts, a tool was created for seasonal planning of raw material purchases, the main function of which is to minimize operating costs. It allows you to simplify the management of the filling capacity of elevators, the efficiency of using your own and hired vehicles, the uniformity of the utilization of production facilities during the year, taking into account their throughput. The real effect of using mathematical modeling is considered and the possibility of using such an approach to create a strategy for the development of supply chains in the future is considered. adds partner IT-Business of the Oil and Oil Business "Rusagro" Konstantin Voloshin.

Implementation of Logijet TMS and Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru solutions
KORUS Consulting Group of Companies created for Rusagro Oil"" a comprehensive system of three products that helps the company optimize logistics agricultural raw materials during the harvest season. time The average unloading decreased by 15%, the value transport of the salaried decreased by almost 10%, and the total savings on transportation costs for one culture amounted to 6.2 million, rubles despite the increase. This was reported on April fuel prices 17, 2023 in the KORUS Group of Companies. Consulting
Earlier in the season of harvesting sunflower in front of elevators and factories "Rusagro Maslo" there were queues of trucks with raw materials. The downtime of the cars could reach up to three days, the company spent funds on paying for it, and a long wait caused discontent among suppliers. To build the optimal process of interaction with agricultural producers and increase the transparency of the transportation of raw materials, the company turned to the specialists in logistics and supply chain design "CORUS Consulting."
Experts analyzed the historical ones available at Rusagro Maslo: data facility throughput, capacity, constant and variable transshipment costs, transportation costs depending on mileage, as well as current processes in the company. Specialists immersed themselves in the landscape of the systems used in the company and identified the necessary systems in the project. integration All this made it possible to develop a concept of a targeted solution, formulate requirements for the platform and plan work.
The logistics automation business architecture is based on three products. The Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru software receives information on the forecast volumes of seed acceptance and costs, calculates the optimal load and, taking into account the location of factories and elevators, distributes the entire volume of supplies to different facilities. In addition, using LLamasoft, their throughput is calculated for the near future. The yard management system (YMS), developed by KORUS Consulting specialists specifically for Rusagro Maslo, generates an unloading schedule at the holding's factories, coordinates the acceptance of cars and calls drivers. TMS Logijet is responsible for transport management: it builds routes and monitors the location of each car, and also transmits information about transportation for which it is planned to attract third-party vehicles to the exchange and receives the results of trading. All these solutions are integrated with the systems already in use in the company.
Thanks to a bunch of 10 systems, three of which were implemented during the project, Rusagro Maslo employees always have access to information about how many cars are on the way, how many are waiting for unloading, and how many are already on the territory of production. So that the client could quickly track the result, and was also confident in the deadlines for the delivery of the system - to the sunflower harvest - the project was carried out according to the Agile methodology. First, a layout was created, then MVP (minimum viable product) and then intermediate solutions with modifications were regularly issued. The results of all iterations were checked on a special set of test data - so all project participants could immediately evaluate specific functional blocks. The decision was ready for the very beginning of the harvest season.
The system has proven to be effective. Rusagro plans to scale it to other types of raw materials and further refine it to fully automate the processes related to transport registration and logistics management on the territory of the facilities.
This is the first comprehensive logistics automation project in Russia, which combined 10 enterprise systems. Thanks to the interrelated work of individual tools, the company receives clear information about the workload of plants, logistics costs - and can build processes as efficiently as possible. The company became a partner of Rusagro for a large-scale transformation and was able to create a solution that not only ensures full transparency of logistics, but can also be replicated further at other production facilities, noted in KORUS Consulting Group.
