2023: Appointment as CEO of Demeter-Holding
At the end of April 2023, the grain trader Demetra-Holding announced the appointment of Alexei Gribanov as the new CEO of the company. He replaced Sergei Emdin, who, before heading Demeter, led the telecommunications operator Tele2.
Sergei Emdin decided to continue his career outside the company. During his work, he combined the assets of Demeter-Holding within the framework of the holding structure, built unified corporate processes and thus laid the foundation for active business growth and its functioning at the expense of the company's own infrastructure, the company's press service told Interfax. |
Prior to his appointment as head of Demeter-Holding, Alexey Gribanov held the position of First Deputy General Director in this company and was responsible for the development of the railway and port business segments. Having headed the holding, he will continue to implement the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the grain market, create and develop new logistics chains and export infrastructure, the press service of the grain trader said. Personnel changes will not affect the strategic development of Demeter-Holding, the company added.

The holding owns 100% of the largest railway operator for the transportation of agro-industrial bulk goods Rusagrotrans.
