2023: Digital Platform Launch for Online Educator Education

From September 1, 2023, all kindergartens in Russia will switch to a new preschool education system. The Institute of Age Physiology of the Russian Academy of Education has launched a digital platform for online teaching of teachers. The platform launched the first advanced training course "Directions and conditions for the implementation of the Federal Educational Program of Preschool Education." The students will be teachers from all constituent entities of Russia, including the annexed territories, said one of the platform developers, coordinator of the Digital Russia party project in the Republic of Mari El Sergey Yakunin. This was announced on May 25, 2023 by the press service of Anton Nemkin.

The launch of the platform has become one of the important stages of the digital transformation of the institute, stressed its director Elena Attack.

We are heading for the digitalization of science, and the platform has become one of the main steps in this direction. I am sure that in this way we will be able not only to attract listeners, but also to implement projects important for the entire education system, as well as help parents and teachers adapt to the new realities of working with the modern generation. There will be a lot of interesting things on the platform, - said the head of the institute.

On the platform, course participants can both listen to webinars of the best scientists in our country, and study additional materials, undergo testing and perform tasks for independent work. The platform also allows you to duplicate content in a "lightweight" form so that you can work from mobile devices, - explained Sergey Yakunin.

Another know-how is the use of not only webinars and video lectures, but also audio podcasts. Thus, we laid down in the platform the maximum number of functions necessary for comfortable study, - said the developer.

Federal coordinator of Digital Russia, member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Anton Nemkin is confident that the innovative approach of the Institute of Age Physiology to solving problems of advanced training will help at the same time train a huge number of primary teachers throughout the country.

We are obliged to engage in comprehensive education and training of the younger generation of Russia, especially in the field of digital technologies. After all, it is today's children who will have to pick up the baton in order to continue our work on the development of our country, including its technological sovereignty. To help them become highly qualified specialists, you need to lay the right foundations in their upbringing, including at the earliest level. Preparing teachers to work according to the new rules for teaching kindergarten pupils, especially done with the help of digital solutions, will allow them not only to gain access and assimilate a huge amount of materials, but also to adapt themselves and help children live and study in new digital realities, Nemkin said.

He also recalled that the creation and implementation of a digital educational environment in educational organizations, provided for by the federal project "Digital Educational Environment," will allow for the digital transformation of the education system.

Within the framework of the project, work is underway to equip schools and kindergartens with modern equipment, as well as to develop digital services and content for educational activities.

By opening a digital platform to improve the skills of teachers, especially those who work in the preschool education program, the Institute has taken a crucial step towards solving these problems. My colleagues and I on the federal project of United Russia will take the necessary measures to help educational institutions of all regions join the platform, "said Anton Nemkin.
