JSC "" with Severstal-Infokom the involvement of LLC 1C-Rarus specialists "" automated transport transportations PJSC Severstal"." A system built on the basis of the 1C: Transportation Logistics, Expediting and Vehicle Management KORP"" solution helps to effectively use the resources of your own vehicle fleet  and evaluate the work of contractors.  Severstal-Infocom , a subsidiary of Severstal-Infocom, is responsible for information technology. Information technology plays an integral role in business development, so Severstal's strategic priority is the implementation of digital transformation programs. Severstal Transport Management has initiated a project to automate the operation of vehicles on the  1C:Enterprise 8.3 technology platform.  As the basis for the industry system, they chose the configuration "1C: Transport Logistics, Forwarding and Vehicle Management KORP," produced by the 1C-Rarus Development Center. The implementation and adaptation of the information system was carried out by Severstal-Infocom with the involvement of 1C-Rarus specialists in terms of the methodology and principles of the solution.

The main objectives of Severstal's motor transport division are to meet the needs of internal customers in all types of transportation around the clock. In this system, the joint work of customers and performers is organized,  alogists have received a convenient tool for distributing applications for transport services.

The specifics of the types of vehicles are taken into account, including large-tonnage transportation carried out in multi-route shifts, as well as long-distance transportation. The system allows you to keep records and control  2,900 vehicles, trailers and attachments belonging to both your own motor transport unit  and external contracting transport organizations.

As a result of the project, the following technological innovations were introduced:

  • Single window for ordering a transport service.
  • Planning the work of your own transport.
  • Digital document management with transport service providers (contractors).
  • Routing and calculating the labor intensity of transport tasks.
  • Issue and delivery of waybills in electronic form through drivers' infomats.
  • Service model of interaction between the supplier and the consumer of transport services.
  • Cartography and transport monitoring.
  • Accounting and planning of repair of onboard equipment of the satellite transport monitoring system.
  • Automatic control of fuel release from own automobile fuel tankers.
  • Accounting of medical examinations, assessment of the condition of drivers by medical terminals.
  • Accounting and analysis of drivers' operating modes using data from driver's cards of onboard tachographic devices.
  • Formation and accounting of the use of passes for the removal of industrial waste to ensure compliance with environmental standards and rules.

The company is developing the system, implementing updated modules. The issue of launching mobile applications for convoy mechanics is being worked out in  order to speed up the pre-trip control of the technical condition of vehicles and fill in track sheets, as well as for drivers,

The implementation of this system made it possible to more efficiently use the resources of our own fleet and evaluate the work of contractors. Prior to the launch of the project, the activities of contractors were not sufficiently controlled. By using digital tools, it became possible to evaluate and optimize the cost of services of external carriers,
