2023: Taxcom-Agent 3.1.8 compatibility with Astra Linux Special Edition 1.7

The compatibility of the certified OCAstra Linux 1.7 and the Taxcom-Agent application 3.1.8 has been confirmed. The vendor officially guarantees that Online Sprinter and Taxcom-Fyler, the flagship services from Taxcom for electronic document management and Internet reporting to government agencies, can be used without restrictions in the Astra Linux environment . This was announced on September 8, 2023 by the Astra Group of Companies.

Experts conducted a series of tests of the software stack, paying special attention to the correctness of the protection mechanisms built into the platform: a closed software environment, guaranteed mashing of deleted data. The specialists made sure that all the components of the joint solution work normally, and their functionality is fully available to users. As a result, the Taxcom product was officially certified as part of the Ready for Astra IT manufacturers' technological cooperation program.

Taxcom-Agent software is an intermediary application between the user's computer and Online Sprinter and Taxcom-Boiler. The solution performs cryptographic operations (signing documents, checking electronic signatures, encryption and decryption), downloading files to online services, as well as setting up a workplace for their full use.

"Online Sprinter" and "Taxcom-Filer" work through a browser in any OS, and additional settings are not needed for this. However, in order to use an electronic signature to pass authorization and certify the documents sent and received, it is necessary to use the CryptoPro crypto provider, and Taxcom-Filer and Taxcom-Sprinter interact with it only through Taxcom-Agent, which allows both products to access CryptoPro and receive electronic signature data.

The certification confirms that Taxcom clients who have switched or are planning to switch to Astra Linux can continue to work with their usual services without any restrictions, said Anton Malenkov, Head of the Technology Development and Support Department of the Technical Development and Development Department of Taxcom.
