How much is marking for retail?

After the entry into force of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 28, 2019 N 224 "On approval of the Rules for labeling tobacco products"..., many sellers thought about how much it would cost them to equip retail outlets to work with labeling.

Labeling is a new concept in our country. And as everything is new, it generates a lot of myths. One of them is "Connecting to the marking system is expensive!" Let's figure out if this is the case, using a specific example.

The Taxcom company, which takes part in the labeling project as a fiscal data operator (OFD), an electronic document management operator (EDM) and a solution provider, was contacted by the owner of one of the retail sales points selling tobacco products.

From July 1, 2019, all retail enterprises are obliged, when selling cigarettes at the checkout, to scan DataMatrix codes from each bundle or block and, using the OFD, transmit information about the retired product to the labeling system.

At the time of contacting Taxcom, the store already had a 2D scanner, since it traded in alcohol and sent data to the EGAIS system, and the updated firmware of the cash register, since in January, together with everyone, it switched to a VAT rate of 20%.

The owner of the store was asked to choose one of the possible tariffs for transferring data to the labeling system using the Taxcom OFD:

  • Tariff "100,000 checks" without a time limit - 2,000 rubles.
  • Tariff "KKT + Marking" with an unlimited number of checks for each cash desk - 4,000 rubles. in year.

A tariff was chosen for 2,000 rubles without a subscription fee.

For retail, the obligation to apply EDO when working with labeled goods comes only from July 1, 2020. But our owner decides to connect electronic document management in advance in order to simplify interaction with suppliers and start using an electronic universal transfer document (UPD) with product codes before it becomes his responsibility by law. For retail stores, Taxcom offers several solutions, for example:

The second problem we faced during the pilot project on tobacco "coding" is work in the fields, when goods have to be accepted outside the stationary workplace, without a computer and the Internet. For such cases, we have developed mobile solutions for the data collection terminal, tablets and smartphones. One of them isthe Taxcom-Filer mobile application, which meets the current requirements for automating business processes under labeling conditions. "

A unified system of labeling and traceability of goods, which will allow tracing the path of products from the manufacturer to the consumer and combating low-quality, fake and gray goods, should work in Russia by 2024, the Deputy Prime Minister said in his speech.

Taxcom became a fiscal data operator

Taxcom develops roaming with EDO operators

Electronic document management in Russia is rapidly developing. It is beneficial to both organizations and regulatory authorities, which every year increase the exchange of electronic documents of legal significance. It has become customary to submit reports in electronic form, submit electronic documents to the tax authority, exchange electronic invoices and other documents with counterparties. EDO capabilities, such as high speed of interaction, cost reduction, optimization of business processes, are pushing companies to wider exchange of documents.

In such conditions, participants in the exchange of electronic documents need to interact through different operators in accordance with paragraph 1.3 of the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Russia dated 10.11.2015 No. 174n.
