Pacific State University to launch digital security for universities

2023: Smart Integrated Security Implementation Plan

Pacific State University (TOGU) plans to be the first in the Far East to introduce a smart integrated security system for universities. The project was developed by the National Research Tomsk State University (TSU) and GLONASS JSC on the basis of domestic digital technologies using artificial intelligence. The corresponding agreement was signed on September 11, 2023 by the acting rector of the TOGU Yuri Marfin and the general director of GLONASS JSC Alexei Raikevich.

The system was previously deployed and tested in one of the TSU buildings. The decision received positive assessments from the federal and regional.
