Proftorg Group of Companies has implemented AXELOT WMS out of the box.

The typical functionality of AXELOT WMS turned out to be more than enough to automate all technological processes in the warehouse of the distributor of dishes and household goods - Proftorg Group of Companies. This was announced on October 26, 2023 by Axelot (Axelot).

The Proftorg group of companies is engaged in the distribution of dishes and household goods. The Group has about 20 brands in its profile, including TESCOMA, NIKA and Borisov Ceramics. The number of partners and orders is constantly growing, it is becoming more difficult to manage warehouse logistics manually, so the Group's management decided to upgrade the warehouse and implement AXELOT WMS. Automation made it possible to organize address storage, use data collection terminals for warehouse tasks, increase accounting transparency and simplify the search for goods.

The implementation took place in collaboration with AXELOT at the Proftorg Group of Companies warehouse in Moscow. This is a relatively small site - its area is 1,120 square meters. m Here, the item is received from vendors and shipped on customer orders. Active commodity units are about 5,000.

In order to automate logistics business processes in the Proftorg warehouse, AXELOT specialists limited themselves to the AXELOT WMS settings - the typical functionality of the system completely covered all the needs of the warehouse.

The introduction of AXELOT WMS allowed Proftorg to completely switch to working with data collection terminals. To build an integration loop between WMS and CIS, AXELOT specialists used DATAREON Platform.

Automation made it possible to speed up the processes of cargo processing in the warehouse. Once acceptance is complete, product placement tasks are automatically created in AXELOT WMS. At the same time, the system distinguishes between the types of storage areas and places the goods depending on whether they arrived as part of a monopoly (in this case, the goods are placed in the storage area) or in a mixed pallet (in this case, the placement takes place in small-volume sampling cells simultaneously with unfolding). Selection planning is carried out according to a single algorithm for all orders. The result of the selection is the consolidation of the goods prepared for shipment in the allocated area.

The shipment from the warehouse is initiated when the vehicle arrives. To confirm the shipment, the personnel selects the required task queue at the shipping documentation, enters the order number, scans the barcodes of the formed cargo items and confirms the shipment.

The introduction of AXELOT WMS helped Proftorg Group to solve all the tasks. The management of Proftorg Group of Companies received convenient tools to improve the efficiency of warehouse logistics.
