"Bubl-Gum" - hypermarkets of goods for children from Vladivostok, almost 50 stores in the network as of November 2023. In 2023, the retailer invited its customers to try self-service: the first "island" of 3 cash desks opened in one of the stores in Vladivostok and three months later showed a good result - up to 46% of all store checks made their way to the CSR, the load on cashiers decreased. According to the results of the "pilot," the retailer plans to equip the islands in 10 more stores of the chain.

The goal of the project is to increase the throughput of the store and unload cashiers at peak moments of traffic, which are expressed very clearly in children's goods stores: these are evening hours and pre-holiday periods.

The project is supported by CSI: the company's analysts made an economic calculation of efficiency, provided recommendations for the design and design of the island. Stores install CSI K self-service checkouts.

The CSR has deactivators of acoustic magnetic anti-reflection marks, which are triggered when the buyer scans the goods. An employee who is always on the island helps to remove the hard anti-theft mark. Order and security are supported by additionally installed cameras: from above and in the central part of the cash register - buyers, seeing control, try to be more careful. Potential violations characteristic of children's stores are also taken into account in the logic of the CSR.
