2023: Software Robot Implementation

The St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center (St. Petersburg IAC) will introduce a software robot into the work of the Committee on State Order of St. Petersburg. The robot will help optimize the process of generating and posting a report on estimated prices for construction resources. This was announced on December 4, 2023 by representatives of the St. Petersburg IAC.

The subordinate institution of St. Petersburg GBU "Center for Pricing, Standardization and Procurement Monitoring" of the Committee on State Order of St. Petersburg monitors, prepares substantiating settlement documents and uploads data on estimated prices of construction resources to the Federal State Information System for Pricing in Construction. The last task, as part of the optimization project, will be transferred to the robot. This will help significantly reduce the burden on employees and give them the opportunity to carry out more work on other issues.

According to preliminary estimates, the software robot can speed up the download of reporting twice. As of the beginning of December 2023, the first stage of the introduction of robotization was successfully completed. Further testing of the solution is scheduled for January-February 2024.

"The project to optimize the process is being carried out within the framework of the ″ Effective Region ″ program, which is being implemented on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. It is important to note that a similar reporting process exists in the IOGV of other subjects of Russia. Therefore, with the successful introduction of a software robot and confirmation of its effectiveness, it will be possible to say that the solution has the potential for replication to other regions, "commented Stanislav Kazarin, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg.
