2023: Transition to domestic software

The enterprise METEOR Thermo (formerly Bosch Heating Systems LLC and the company ASCON completed a localization project software to create design documentation for heating boilers. The release of design documentation at the plant in the city was Engels stopped in March 2022, immediately after the concern left the company Bosch , Russia which previously owned the enterprise. Meteor Thermo announced this on January 15, 2024.

The localization project was completed in a short time - two months and METEOR Thermo has already begun production of a new line of heating boilers, the design documentation for which was prepared using Russian software - KOMPAS-3D.

The KOMPAS-3D software has good functionality, including 3D solid modeling, sheet metal scanning, parameterization and variable operation in models, as well as layout geometry.

Thanks to ASCON solutions, our engineers will now be able to quickly and efficiently create any design documentation for our products, as well as save time on making changes and creating new product options. Also, in favor of choosing COMPASS, the convenience of drawing according to the requirements of GOST and additional functionality in the form of recognition of 3D models for working in alternative formats played. All this simplifies and accelerates our work, and we can do the main thing - the creation of modern, effective and reliable household and industrial boilers, - said Alexander Polovnikov, head of the METEOR Thermo development group.

Another ASCON solution implemented in METEOR Thermo is the Pilot software: KB, designed to create and manage an electronic archive of design documentation, which is also implemented in a short time - one month.
