2024: Transport Flow Micro Modeling Solution Development Plan

SIMETRA Group of Companies and Elina Computer entered into a partnership agreement. Simetra announced this on March 18, 2024. The partnership was signed in Kazan. The parties to the agreement will jointly develop a domestic solution for micro-modeling of transport flows, which should become an alternative to the products of Western vendors - PTV Vissim and others.

The joint solution will be a module within the RITM³ platform from SIMETRA, which is suitable for the tasks of analysis, planning and management of the transport system, and is also applied for monitoring, modeling and traffic management at the level of a region, city or industrial facility. The module for micro-modeling will be able to create a digital copy of transport objects - from individual road junctions to planning traffic flows inside a residential quarter. The model will take into account the real transport situation on the ground, including the movement of pedestrians, cars and the operation of traffic lights.

We are creating an IT product that will be used in transport as well as hybrid projects related to the planning of residential buildings. This will be a completely domestic solution that works in a client-server architecture based on modern algorithms. The work of the module for micro-modeling in a single platform will RITM³ simplify and speed up the creation of the final model, while preventing quality degradation, "said Andrey Prokhorov, Technical Director of SIMETRA Group of Companies.

The first version of the micro-modeling module is planned to be presented in the summer of 2024. The project team will develop the solution, gradually expanding its capabilities and adding functions. At the same time, the main difference between the domestic module for micro-modeling and Western analogues will be its integration with the RITM³ platform. The module will work in a single complex, which will make it possible to make a seamless transition from micro- to macromodel.
