2024: Introduction of the services of the Russian online office Yandex 360
On May 14, 2024, the company, a Softline Group of Companies (PJSC Softline) provider of solutions and services in the field of digital transformation and developing information security a comprehensive portfolio of its own products and services, announced that it had completed a project to implement Russian online office services for Yandex 360 business. Within Irkutsk Oil Company (INC) the framework of it, the Softline Group of Companies team delivered 8,000 licenses, which include: corporate, Messenger AEROSPACE FORCES Teleconference service, corporate mail, Calendar, Disk cloudy storage and other services. As a result of the project, the client received convenient tools for business communications, as well as a number of opportunities within the framework of the comprehensive service of Softline Group of Companies - Softline Enterprise Agreement (SEA). In addition, to quickly adapt to a set of services, experts conducted Softline Academies training for employees of the Irkutsk company oil and talked about the capabilities of Yandex 360 for business.
As reported, the Irkutsk Oil Company (INC) is an independent producer of hydrocarbons in Eastern Siberia. The company was established in 2000, conducts geological study, exploration and development of subsoil areas in the Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The Irkutsk oil company was considering the transition from one product ecosystem to an alternative online office. To do this, the company turned to its strategic IT partner - the Softline team, voicing the requirements for the vendor. Softline Group of companies is working with the Irkutsk Oil Company on the transition to Russian solutions. So, for the client, Softline Group of companies experts developed a roadmap that gradually described the stages of migration of the company's infrastructure to alternative solutions. Also, experts have deployed a stand for INC with a test medium, where various products are presented. Within the framework of this project, it was important for INC to find a solution similar in functionality to the previous messenger and storage.
In the process of testing the Russian services presented at the stand, the customer compared them according to various key parameters. To do this, the INC specialists were divided into several working groups, each of which worked independently of each other. Employees studied these products, testing them in their daily workflows. As a result of this analysis, it was determined that Yandex 360 for business meets all the necessary requirements: it allows effective communications in the format of a closed corporate Messenger or VKS sessions, provides the ability to parallel migration of data from personal cloud disks and libraries, and also provides 1 TB of external storage for each user and much more.
After the client was presented with the capabilities of the comprehensive service approach of Softline Enterprise Agreement, an agreement was concluded between Softline Group of Companies and INC for the implementation of the Yandex 360 digital environment for business. As part of the implementation, a survey of the customer's infrastructure was carried out, methods and mechanisms for migrating user disk resources were developed. Instructions for migrating the mail archive were also developed and consultations were held to implement the migration process.
When INC decided to switch from previously used services, we not only selected the optimal solution for business communications for the customer, but also helped to get additional benefits. By purchasing the Yandex 360 digital environment for business within SEA, our client receives a number of opportunities for managing licensing programs and products in a single License Center. This will contribute to the operational transition on other technology stacks.
