2024: Roshim bought LLC Cargo

JSC "Roskhim," which controls a number of large enterprises of the chemical industry, acquired LLC "Cargo," which manages the Berezniki chemical plant "Soda-Khlorat" in the Kama region. Changes in the composition of the founders of the company were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL) in June 2024.

Before the purchase, Cargo was controlled by businessman Gennady Shutikov and Marina Medvedeva from the RIAL group, which manages the assets of the deputy of the legislative assembly of the region, Yuri Borisovets. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, but earlier sources estimated the value of such assets at about 5 billion rubles each.

Soda-Chlorat, located in Berezniki, produces chemical compounds of potassium and calcium used in the food industry. The company was formed in 1999 as a result of the division of the Bereznikovsky association Soda into the Bereznikovsky Soda Plant and Soda-Khlorat as part of the bankruptcy procedure. Over the past year, Soda-Chlorat's net profit amounted to 1.6 billion rubles, and revenue - 6 billion rubles.

According to Kommersant, Roskhim JSC has been negotiating the purchase of not only Soda-Khlorat, but also Perm Kamtex-Khimprom JSC since the beginning of 2024. Roskhim has not previously commented on the possibility of acquiring these enterprises, but the deal with Cargo LLC confirms the company's intention to strengthen its position in the Perm Territory.

As the newspaper notes, in addition to Soda-Khlorat, in the Perm Territory, Roskhim owns the Bereznikovsky Soda Plant through the Bashkir Soda Company, and also manages the Gubakhinsky Metafrax Chemicals JSC. The new acquisition will allow the company to expand its production capacity and strengthen its presence in the chemical products market.^[1]
