In 2001, she graduated with honors from the International Independent Ecological and Political Science University with a degree in law.

Career
1999-2008
From 1999 to 2003, she was a member of the Moscow Law Center Bar Association, and carried out advocacy activities.

2024: Election of the head of the board of directors of MKPAO Yandex
At the end of June 2024, the board of directors of MKPAO Yandex unanimously elected Svetlana Yachevskaya, a lawyer and member of the board of trustees of the European University, as its chairman.
