The Perekrestok retail chain has launched a mobile application for retail employees in order to improve operational efficiency. UNA Mobile Assistant (UNA) combines tools and services that a supermarket employee uses every day in a single digital circuit. The application is the own development of specialists from Kh5 Tech and Perekrestka . The company announced this on September 10, 2024.

UNA will be available to all supermarket staff. You can install it on your own mobile phone. As of September 2024, the application is deployed throughout the retail network at individual mobile supermarket terminals. Plans - create a unique digital role for each retail employee with a set of necessary functions and tasks. The UNA name reflects the unity of the digital solution tools for effective supermarket management.

The mobile assistant gives the user access to task planning, prioritization and detail based on the results of execution. The system will mark urgent, show progress and statistics, as well as key metrics and indicators for the supermarket, the profile of the retail facility and the team. In addition, the application is equipped with wide functionality: price verification, verification of shelf life and availability of goods, demonstration of interactive planograms with the location of products, display of the print queue of price tags. One of the important elements is a universal bar code and QR code scanner, which itself understands what the user is scanning, and thanks to this, the employee does not need to go to other interfaces.

Testing of this application by the pilot group showed a significant increase in operational efficiency - plus 12%, a decrease in losses - up to 15%, the discipline of working out tasks - plus 25%.

The application has a clear design and intuitive search. Perekrestok plans to continuously develop a super-app, equipping it with single-window capabilities for all the store's operational tasks.
