2024: Announcement of the Russian PAC "Alcor"
The technological alliance of Graviton, Kaspersky Lab, Astra Group and Axoft was presented by the Russian PAC Alcor. An IT solution based on domestic servers and information security systems is designed to monitor and protect against complex threats and targeted attacks. With it, customers will be able to control and protect various entry points for potential threats: network, web traffic, email, desktops, servers, and virtual machines. The Graviton server used S2122I included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Kaspersky Lab and Astra Group products are included in the Ministry of Ministry of Digital Development Russian Software Registry. This was announced on November 25, 2024 by representatives of Axoft.
As reported, the Axoft technical team was faced with the task of bringing to the market a domestic technology stack that meets all regulatory requirements and provides protection against the most complex and hidden threats. The created PAC is suitable for customers from various sectors of the public and industrial sector, who need to effectively distribute the budget between IT segments, information security and equipment, as well as meet FZ-187.
The Alcor IT complex allows customers to get a ready-made comprehensive software and hardware solution to counter targeted attacks, optimal in design and tested by Axoft experts. told Nikita Chernyakov, Head of the Business Development Department of Information Security Solutions of Axoft |
The comprehensive solution includes POKaspersky Anti Targeted Attack (KATA) and supplemented by the capabilities of Kaspersky EDR Expert (KEDR), which provide protection against complex targeted attacks at all levels. Technologies are integrated into a single XDR class solution that can protect key entry points. Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack (KATA) integrates with network devices that support the transmission of a copy of traffic for further analysis. Information security products are deployed on Graviton servers S2122I 2U size. The equipment is based on the Tundra motherboard and is equipped with two Intel Xeon Scalable processors and up to 2 TB of RAM. This solution is applied by large and medium-sized organizations.
Cybersecurity is key to sustainable enterprise operations. The issue is especially acute in the industrial sector, in government organizations, where the process of building protection against modern cyber threats is closely related to import substitution of software and equipment. In addition, the number of attacks is growing every year, and they are becoming more sophisticated and targeted. The software and hardware complex, created together with our partners, will protect the IT infrastructure of the enterprise. It uses modern solutions. PAC was created by domestic companies, which is important in the context of replacing software with Russian analogues, and meets all regulatory requirements. noted Marina Usova, Head of Corporate Sales at Kaspersky Lab |
As part of the creation of the PAC, the Axoft technical team implemented the following stages: product deployment and configuration; checking the readiness of the KATA/KEDR system for testing; Testing threat detection components in web and mail traffic KEDR threat detection testing receiving the file and sending it for analysis in Sandbox using Kaspersky EDR; creating a ban policy.
The customer will be able to assemble the PAC on the Graviton servers according to two scenarios, which will solve various types of problems. To ensure protection against complex targeted attacks, a solution that includes Kaspersky Lab products is suitable. To deploy infrastructure in the cloud, PAK optionally comes with the Brest Virtualization Tools software package and the Astra Linux operating system, developed by Astra Group.
The Axoft technical team conducts a presale with an analysis of the functionality of solutions, the implementation of a pilot project on the customer's infrastructure, the implementation of solutions and the commissioning of PAC. You can check the operation of technological bundles online in the virtual space of the Axoft demosphere. Kaspersky Lab and Astra Group products have been tested to confirm their compatibility with Graviton equipment.
We conducted studies that showed that the sharing of KATA and KEDR solutions with the Graviton server S2122I solves the main tasks in ensuring cybersecurity. PAC based on these solutions effectively analyzes network traffic in real time, detects malicious activity, and also detects complex threats. told Alexander Filchenkov, Director of the Department of Server and Network Systems "Graviton" |
