2025: Introduction of Axelot WMS at a warehouse in Moscow
ZAO NPO GARANT - one of the players in the medical supplies market - uses AXELOT WMS to manage warehouse logistics. Axelot announced this on March 5, 2025.
CJSC NPO GARANT is an importer of medical consumables. Since 1997 , the company has been the distributor the German firm of SFM Hospital Products GmbH. Among the goods supplied are syringes, gloves, solution transfusion systems x-ray and film. Thanks to ZAO NGO GARANT hospitals and laboratories around the world Russia can use consumables from. Germany
In early 2025, NPO GARANT, together with AXELOT, completed the automation of the warehouse in Moscow. The warehouse area is 10,000 sq.m.
Thanks to the AXELOT WMS system, it was possible to increase control over warehouse operations, increase their accuracy and quality. The receipt process has become clear and convenient: the acceptance of the monopalet and mixpalets is carried out in different queues of tasks, during the acceptance process the pallets are marked and information about the batch and the number of packages is recorded in the system using the shipping documentation.
Each item that is put into stock is initially in the Good state. However, if an employee detects a non-compliance, they can manually change this setting. Once the problem has been resolved, the item can be returned to its Valid state. AXELOT WMS monitors the shelf life of goods and automatically changes their status if the shelf life comes to an end. Reconciliation takes place daily at midnight, which prevents the shipment of goods with an inappropriate shelf life.
Upon completion of acceptance, the system automatically allocates placement tasks depending on the configured strategy: loader drivers place monoplets in storage areas, and storekeepers place mixpalets in sampling areas. The warehouse uses order picking technology. All collected goods are subject to mandatory control: the storekeeper scans barcodes, confirms batches and quantities. If excess or shortfalls are found, the system automatically corrects them.
After the AXELOT check is completed, the WMS generates a shipment task. The shipment is carried out by the storekeeper: he selects an order for shipment or flight and scans the pallet barcode. If an employee accidentally selects an item from another order, the system will report an error.
During the work, the project team also configured the integration of AXELOT WMS with the corporate information system of GARANT using the DATAREON Platform.
The integration of AXELOT WMS with CIS allows you to transmit information about the correction of flights or orders. If the CIS receives a command to cancel or change the document before it is shipped, WMS creates tasks to cancel and return the goods to the storage area or good, depending on the situation.
As a result of the project, GARANT received a warehouse management tool, which allows it to continuously supply high-quality medical supplies to hospitals and laboratories throughout Russia.
