At the beginning of 2020, against the background of COVID-19, the proprietary advertising market collapsed. These developments pushed the company to change its approach from striving for continued innovation to profitability and real market needs.
At the end of 2020, getads became a technological partner of Rostelecom, and the Wink platform began to use the getads advertising server in all environments. This colobation allowed the company to generate advertising requests at a level exceeding 100 million per month, covering various devices: mobile, TV, web and smart devices. In 2021, getads increased staff, and revenue increased from 8 million to 52 million rubles. The company continued to develop its partner network, and today getads cooperates with such major players as AdRiver, MTS ADS and many others. This also led to an increase in the company's business indicators, in 2024 the company's revenue amounted to 370 million ₽.
Among the company's product line, the main drivers of business growth were: the monetize platform, which monetizes users of video services, telecom operators and viewers of TV channels (MAAS - monetization as a service), a system for measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of media advertising - adpulse and a getads.ai product that uses artificial intelligence to analyze and enrich user data. This tool helps build detailed viewer profiles, taking into account data such as weather, geography, device type and interaction with ads, which allows you to more accurately target ads and increase their effectiveness.
In 2025, getads rebranded (the company's former name is GetShopTV). Getads also transformed into JSC, which opened up prospects for attracting external partners, and this is especially important against the background of the growth of the Digital Signage and technological innovation market. From 2015 to 2023, the Digital Signage market in Russia grew from 98 billion ₽ to 807 billion ₽.
