2025: Product Announcement
Perm company Teenage Toons has launched a small-scale production of Senobot lawn mower robots capable of speeds up to 20 km/h. This became known in April 2025. The project has already received pre-orders, and in the near future the developers plan to switch to serial production of these products.
The main purpose of robotic lawn mowers is to clean areas from vegetation where large equipment cannot call. The devices are capable of continuous operation for up to eight hours and efficiently handle small areas.
In Russia, theThe Senobot robot is equipped with a tracked platform on which a rotary lawn mowing mechanism is installed, independently clearing the territory of tall grass. Inside the device there is an on-board computer transmitting signals to the control system. To control the robot, a complex of a remote control and FPV glasses is used, through which the operator receives an image from a camera installed on the body of the machine.
The developers emphasize that their robot is not a competitor for large tractors or powerful agricultural equipment. The Senobot will rival small-sized devices such as hand-held rotary mowers and conventional braids. In addition to the main function, the robot also effectively cleans lawns, paths, adjoining areas and other hard-to-reach places from snow, which makes it a multifunctional assistant for private households and agricultural enterprises.
The emergence of a Russian lawn mower robot is becoming part of the robotics ecosystem actively developing in the Perm Territory. At the initiative of the regional governor Dmitry Makhonin, within the framework of the national projects "Data Economics" and "Means of Production and Automation," the League of Robotics of the Kama Region was created - a single ecosystem for IT competitions.[1]
