The BTS furniture factory has been operating in the city of Penza since 2001. Having set itself the goal of producing inexpensive furniture that meets all world standards, the company today has become one of the largest manufacturers of economy-class furniture in the domestic furniture market. With the help of photographic printing, MDF milling and sandblasting of glass surfaces, furniture facades acquire an exclusive appearance. Description

The BTS Furniture Factory information system is built on the basis of 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 with the BIT.MDT module.

In October 2023, the company's management turned to 1C-Rarus specialists to conduct an audit of the system's performance and formulate recommendations that will achieve one of the following results:

  • Significantly reduce the duration of the month-end closing operation;

or

  • increase the speed of parallel work in the system at the time of the closing operation of the month.

As a result of the work of 1C-Rarus experts, recommendations were obtained both to improve the performance of the system as a whole and to optimize the operation of the information system during the closing operation of the month.

Recommendations for:
1. Improving server hardware:

  • 1.1. the lack of processing power on the DBMS server was revealed;
  • 1.2. The need to switch to another type of disk subsystem is justified.

2. Configuring MS SQL Server Settings:

  • 2.1. the need for fine-tuning of parallelism is justified;
  • 2.2. revealed the need to divide databases into different disk subsystems;

3. Configuring the server cluster both in terms of stabilizing its operation and reducing the number of drops in workflows, and in terms of fine-tuning the parameters that control the automatic restart of workflows;

4. Performance management at the time of the month-end close operation in the configuration:

  • 4.1. Managing parameters that have a significant impact on the speed of the month-end closing operation;
  • 4.2. Application code adaptation options to speed up the month-end closing operation.

The information system employs 120 users.

All work was carried out at a high level, within a strictly indicated time frame.

For each of the items, a detailed justification is given, sources and screenshots of the collected logs and metrics are given.

Using the Application Solution "1C:Enterprise 8. ERP Enterprise Management 2 "allows you to automate accounting areas such as: inventory management; Order management cash management; Managing customer and supplier relationships Planning sales, purchasing personnel management; Payroll accounting and tax accounting.

Implementation of the software product "1C:Enterprise 8. ERP Enterprise Management 2 "for the automation of the enterprise provides information for the prompt assessment of the efficiency of work and management decisions.
