Kh5 developed its own replenishment system for the Pyaterochka and Perekrestok retail chains and began its phased implementation. Previously, the company used the solution of a foreign vendor, which limited the possibilities of management and refinement. Now Kh5 is completely moving to an internal technology platform, which gives full control over key logistics processes, increasing their efficiency. The scale and complexity of the system confirm the high level of technological expertise of the Kh5 and its ability to independently create strategically important digital solutions. X5 Group announced this on August 8, 2025.

The replenishment system fully automates supply management, reducing the impact of the human factor and increasing the speed of decision-making, as well as instantly responding to changes in market demand and preventing possible supply disruptions. The system determines the optimal amount of goods on the shelves taking into account demand, seasonality and logistics conditions, and also reduces losses due to expired products due to automated control over shelf life. Its own replenishment system is implemented on the technological stack, which allows calculating increased volume and complexity, as well as using artificial intelligence, optimization algorithms and machine learning models.

The replenishment system already provides direct supplies of goods from suppliers to store shelves throughout the geography of the presence of the Pyaterochka and Perekrestok retail chains, including the Far Eastern Federal District. It is expected that all retail outlets of the two chains (about 25 thousand stores) will be transferred to this replenishment system through distribution centers and Kh5 warehouses, including complex multi-element supply chains, until the end of the first quarter of 2026.
