The Investment Development Agency (AIR) of the Chelyabinsk Region promises to attract 4 billion rubles to the region within a year. The same indicator for the past 2016 amounted to 1.927 billion rubles. Priority investment segments are agriculture and metallurgy. 20 projects out of 45 planned investment initiatives are under implementation.

AIR provides active assistance according to the "one window" scheme, ensures close interaction between power and capital. The region has programs of preferential taxation and land ownership, there is a state guarantee to protect investors.
